13 Owing to the sins of her prophets and the crimes of her priests, who had shed the blood of the upright,in the heart of the city,	13 Per i peccati dei suo i profeti, per le iniquità dei suoi sacerdoti, i quali sparsero in mezzo a lei il sangue dei giusti. NUN.

17 Continual y we were wearing out our eyes, watching for help -- in vain. From our towers we watchedfor a nation which could not save us anyway.	17 Quando eravamo ancora in piedi, si stancarono i nostri occhi nell'attesa del nostro vano soccorso. Allora riguardavamo attenti verso una nazione che non poteva salvare. SADE.

21 Rejoice, exult, daughter of Edom, you who reside in Uz! To you in turn the cup wil pass; you wil getdrunk and strip yourself naked!	21 Rallegrati ed esulta, o figlia d'Edom. che abiti nella terra di Us; ma anche a te arriverà il ca­lice: sarai ubriacata e denudata. TAU.
22 Your wickedness is atoned for, daughter of Zion, he will never banish you again. But your wickedness,daughter of Edom, wil he punish, your sins he will lay bare!	22 La tua iniquità ha termine, o figlia di Sion, non ti manderà più in esilio; Egli punirà la tua iniquità, o figlia d'Edom, metteràa nudo i tuoi peccati.
