Leviticus 4

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If anyone sins inadvertently against any of Yahweh's commandmentsand does anything prohibited by them,	2 « Di' ai figli d'Israele: Quando uno avrà peccato per ignoranza, facendo cose che il Signore ha comandato di non fare,
3 if the one who sins is the anointed priest, thus making the people guilty, then for the sin which he hascommitted he must offer Yahweh a young bul , an unblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin.	3 se è il sacerdote che fu unto colui che ha peccato, siccome ha reso colpevole il popolo, offrirà pel suo peccato al Signore un vitello, senza macchia:
4 He wil bring the bul before Yahweh at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, wil lay his hand on its headand slaughter it before Yahweh.	4 lo condurrà alla porta del Tabernacolo della testimonianza dinanzi al Signore, e dopo avergli posta la mano sul capo, lo immolerà al Signore.
5 The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood and carry it into the Tent of Meeting.	5 Prendendo poi del sangue del vitello lo porterà dentro il Tabernacolo della testimonianza,
6 He wil then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the sanctuary curtain, beforeYahweh.	6 e, intinto il dito nel sangue, con esso aspergerà sette volte dinanzi al Signore, verso il velo del Santuario.
7 The priest will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of incense smoking before Yahweh inthe Tent of Meeting, and wil pour al the rest of the bul 's blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting.	7 E dello stesso sangue ne porrà sui corni dell'altare dei profumi graditissimi al Signore, che è nel Tabernacolo della testimonianza, e tutto il rimanente lo spargerà appiè dell'altare degli olocausti, all'ingresso del Tabernacolo.
8 "Of the bul offered as a sacrifice for sin, he wil set aside all the fat: the fat covering the entrails, al the fat on the entrails,	8 Poi tolto il grasso del vitello per il peccato, il grasso che copre le viscere e quello che e nell'interno,
9 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys-	9 i due reni col grasso che c'è sopra e copre i lombi, il grasso del fegato coi reni,
10 exactly as was done with the portion set aside in the communion sacrifice -- and the priest will burnthese pieces on the altar of burnt offerings.	10 come vengon tolti dal vitello dell'ostia pacifica, li brucerà sopra l'altare degli olocausti.
11 "The bul 's skin and al its meat, its head, its shins, its entrails and its offal,	11 Ma la pelle, tutto le carni, il capo, i piedi, gli intestini, gli escrementi,
12 the whole bul he wil then have carried out of the camp to a clean place, the place where the fattyashes are thrown, and wil burn it on a wood fire; it must be burnt where the ashes are thrown.	12 e tutto il resto del corpo, li porterà fuori del campo, in un luogo puro, dove sogliono esser gettate le ceneri, e lì brucerà sopra una catasta di legna, li farà consumare sul mucchio delle ceneri.
13 "If the whole community of Israel has sinned inadvertently and, without being aware of it has incurredguilt by doing something forbidden by Yahweh's commandments,	13 Se poi tutta la moltitudine d'Israele per ignoranza e imperizia avrà fatto ciò che è contro il comando del Signore,
14 once the sin of which it is guilty has been discovered, the community must offer a young bul , anunblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin, and bring it in front of the Tent of Meeting.	14 riconosciuto il suo fallo, offrirà pel suo peccato un vitello, e lo condurrà alla porta del Tabernacolo.
15 The elders of the community wil then lay their hands on the bul 's head before Yahweh, and the bulwil be slaughtered before Yahweh.	15 Gli anziani del popolo gli porranno sul capo le mani, davanti al Signore; e, immolato il vitello al cospetto del Signore,
16 "The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood into the Tent of Meeting.	16 il sacerdote che fu unto porterà del sangue di esso nel Tabernacolo della testimonianza,
17 He will then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the curtain, beforeYahweh.	17 poi intintovi il dito aspergerà sette volte verso il velo;
18 He will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar standing before Yahweh inside the Tent ofMeeting, and then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to theTent of Meeting.	18 metterà dello stesso sangue sui corni dell'altare che è davanti al Signore nel Tabernacolo della testimonianza, e il rimanente lo spargerà appiè dell'altare degli olocausti, che è alla porta del Tabernacolo della testimonianza.
19 "He wil then set aside al the fat from the animal and burn it on the altar.	19 Preso quindi tutto il grasso del vitello, lo brucerà sopra l'altare,
20 He will then deal with the bul as he did with the bul in the sacrifice for sin. It wil be dealt with in thesame way; and once the priest has performed the rite of expiation for the people, they will be forgiven.	20 facendo di questo vitello come del precedente; così, pregando il sacerdote per essi, il Signore sarà loro propizio.
21 "He wil then have the bul carried out of the camp and wil burn it as he burned the first one. This is thesacrifice for the sin of the community.	21 Poi porterà il vitello fuori del campo, e lo brucerà come il precedente, perchè è offerto per il peccato del popolo.
22 "When a leader has sinned and inadvertently incurred guilt by doing something forbidden by thecommandments of Yahweh his God	22 Se uno dei capi ha peccato e per ignoranza ha fatto una delle molte cose proibite dalla legge del Signore,
23 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a he-goat as his offering,an unblemished male.	23 riconosciuto poi il suo peccato, offrirà come ostia al Signore un capro senza difetti, preso fra le capre,
24 He will then lay his hand on the goat's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered before Yahweh. This is a sacrifice for sin;	24 e gli porrà la mano sul capo, e dopo averlo immolato nel luogo dove si suole scannare l'olocausto dinanzi al Signore, essendo pel peccato,
25 the priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour the rest of its blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings	25 il sacerdote intingerà il dito nel sangue dell'ostia pel peccato e ne metterà sui corni dell'altare degli olocausti, versando poi il rimanente appiè dell'altare.
26 and burn al the fat on the altar, as with the fat in the communion sacrifice. This is how the priest mustperform the rite of expiation for him to free him from his sin, and he wil be forgiven.	26 Ma, il grasso lo farà bruciare sopra l'altare come si suol fare delle ostie pacifiche, il sacerdote pregherà per lui e pel suo perente, che gli sarà rimesso.
27 "If one of the country people sins inadvertently and incurs guilt by doing something forbidden byYahweh's commandments	27 Se poi uno del popolo del paese ha peccato per ignoranza, facendo delle cose vietate dalla, legge del Signore, e prevaricando,
28 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a she-goat as his offeringfor the sin which he has committed, an unblemished female.	28 riconosciuto il suo peccato, offrirà una capra senza, macchia,
29 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered.	29 e dopo aver posta la mano sul capo dell'ostia per il peccato, la immolerà, nel luogo dell'olocausto.
30 The priest wil take some of its blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings.He will then pour all the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	30 Quindi il sacerdote prenderà col suo dito del sangue che metterà sui corni dell'altare degli olocausti, versando il resto appiè dell'altare.
31 He will then remove al the fat, as the fat was removed for the communion sacrifice, and the priest wilburn it on the altar as a smell pleasing to Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform the rite of expiation forhim, and he wil be forgiven.	31 Toltone poi tutto il grasso, come dalle vittime pacifiche, lo farà bruciar sull'altare in odore soavissimo al Signore; e pregherà per quell'uomo, a cui sarà perdonato.
32 "If he wishes to bring a lamb as an offering for this kind of sacrifice, he must bring an unblemishedfemale.	32 Se poi vuole offrire per il peccato una vittima presa tra le pecore, sia una pecora senza, difetto.
33 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it as a sacrifice for sin on the spot wherethe burnt offerings are slaughtered.	33 Dopo averle posta la mano sul capo, la immolerà nel luogo dove sogliono scannarsi le vittime degli olocausti.
34 The priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	34 E il sacerdote, preso col dito del sangue di essa, lo metterà sui corni dell'altare degli olocausti, versando il resto appiè dell'altare;
35 He will then remove al the fat, as was done for the sheep in the communion sacrifice, and the priestwil burn it as food burnt for Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform for him the rite of expiation for the sinwhich he has committed, and he wil be forgiven." '	35 Poi, levatone tutto il grasso, come suol levarsi il grasso dell'ariete che s'immola nei sacrifizi pacifici, lo brucerà sopra l'altare in olocausto al Signore, e pregherà per quell'uomo e per il peccato di lui, che gli sarà perdonato.
