1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Yahvé parla à Moïse:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If anyone sins inadvertently against any of Yahweh's commandmentsand does anything prohibited by them,	2 “Tu diras ceci aux Israélites: Voici les règles concernant les personnes qui auront péché par erreur contre l’un des commandements de Yahvé, lorsqu’ils auront fait quelque chose qui ne doit pas se faire.
3 if the one who sins is the anointed priest, thus making the people guilty, then for the sin which he hascommitted he must offer Yahweh a young bul , an unblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin.	3 Si c’est le prêtre qui a péché, le peuple aussi est affecté par sa faute. Il offrira donc pour le péché qu’il a commis un jeune taureau sans défaut: ce sera pour Yahvé une victime pour le péché.
4 He wil bring the bul before Yahweh at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, wil lay his hand on its headand slaughter it before Yahweh.	4 Il amènera le taureau devant la Tente du Rendez-Vous, devant Yahvé, et il posera sa main sur la tête du taureau; puis il l’égorgera devant Yahvé.
5 The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood and carry it into the Tent of Meeting.	5 Le prêtre qui a reçu l’onction prendra du sang du taureau et le portera à l’intérieur de la Tente du Rendez-Vous.
6 He wil then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the sanctuary curtain, beforeYahweh.	6 Il trempera son doigt dans le sang et fera sept fois l’aspersion devant Yahvé, face au rideau du sanctuaire.
7 The priest will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of incense smoking before Yahweh inthe Tent of Meeting, and wil pour al the rest of the bul 's blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting.	7 Le prêtre mettra du sang sur les cornes de l’autel des parfums qui est devant Yahvé dans la Tente du Rendez-Vous, et il répandra le reste du sang du taureau au pied de l’autel des holocaustes, à l’entrée de la Tente.
8 "Of the bul offered as a sacrifice for sin, he wil set aside all the fat: the fat covering the entrails, al the fat on the entrails,	8 Il enlèvera ensuite toute la graisse du taureau sacrifié pour le péché, la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles et celle qui y est attachée,
9 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys-	9 les deux rognons avec la graisse qui les recouvre et celle qui les entoure, enfin l’enveloppe du foie qu’il détachera près des rognons.
10 exactly as was done with the portion set aside in the communion sacrifice -- and the priest will burnthese pieces on the altar of burnt offerings.	10 Il agira de la même manière que dans les sacrifices de communion: il fera fumer le tout sur l’autel des holocaustes.
11 "The bul 's skin and al its meat, its head, its shins, its entrails and its offal,	11 Mais la peau du taureau, la chair avec la tête, les jambes, les entrailles et les excréments - le taureau tout entier -
12 the whole bul he wil then have carried out of the camp to a clean place, the place where the fattyashes are thrown, and wil burn it on a wood fire; it must be burnt where the ashes are thrown.	12 on l’emportera hors du camp, à l’endroit où l’on jette les cendres. 13 "If the whole community of Israel has sinned inadvertently and, without being aware of it has incurredguilt by doing something forbidden by Yahweh's commandments,	13 Si toute la communauté des Israélites a péché involontairement, s’ils ont commis sans s’en rendre compte l’une de ces choses que Yahvé a défendu de faire,
14 once the sin of which it is guilty has been discovered, the community must offer a young bul , anunblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin, and bring it in front of the Tent of Meeting.	14 la communauté offrira, dès qu’elle aura pris conscience du péché qu’elle a commis, un jeune taureau en sacrifice pour le péché. 15 The elders of the community wil then lay their hands on the bul 's head before Yahweh, and the bulwil be slaughtered before Yahweh.	15 puis les anciens de la communauté poseront leurs mains sur la tête du taureau, devant Yahvé. Là on égorgera le taureau.
16 "The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood into the Tent of Meeting.	16 Le prêtre qui a reçu l’onction portera du sang du taureau à l’intérieur de la Tente du Rendez-Vous.
17 He will then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the curtain, beforeYahweh.	17 Il trempera son doigt dans le sang et fera sept fois l’aspersion devant Yahvé, face au rideau.
18 He will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar standing before Yahweh inside the Tent ofMeeting, and then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to theTent of Meeting.	18 Il mettra du sang sur les cornes de l’autel qui est devant Yahvé, dans la Tente du Rendez-Vous, et il versera le reste du sang au pied de l’autel des holocaustes qui se trouve à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous.
19 "He wil then set aside al the fat from the animal and burn it on the altar.	19 Il enlèvera ensuite toute la graisse du taureau et la fera fumer sur l’autel.
20 He will then deal with the bul as he did with the bul in the sacrifice for sin. It wil be dealt with in thesame way; and once the priest has performed the rite of expiation for the people, they will be forgiven.	20 Il fera pour ce taureau comme pour le taureau immolé pour le péché du prêtre: on agira de la même façon. Le prêtre fera ainsi le rite d’expiation pour le peuple, et il sera pardonné.
21 "He wil then have the bul carried out of the camp and wil burn it as he burned the first one. This is thesacrifice for the sin of the community.	21 Il emportera le taureau hors du camp et le brûlera comme le premier taureau: c’est le sacrifice pour le péché de la communauté.
22 "When a leader has sinned and inadvertently incurred guilt by doing something forbidden by thecommandments of Yahweh his God	22 Si un chef a péché, s’il s’est rendu coupable en faisant par erreur une de ces choses que Yahvé son Dieu a défendu de faire,
23 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a he-goat as his offering,an unblemished male.	23 il amènera pour son offrande un bouc mâle sans défaut, dès qu’il se sera rendu compte du péché qu’il a commis.
24 He will then lay his hand on the goat's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered before Yahweh. This is a sacrifice for sin;	24 Il posera sa main sur la tête du bouc et l’égorgera à l’endroit où l’on égorge les holocaustes pour Yahvé, car c’est un sacrifice pour le péché.
25 the priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour the rest of its blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings	25 Le prêtre prendra avec son doigt du sang de la victime pour le péché, il en mettra sur les cornes de l’autel des holocaustes, et versera le reste du sang au pied de cet autel.
26 and burn al the fat on the altar, as with the fat in the communion sacrifice. This is how the priest mustperform the rite of expiation for him to free him from his sin, and he wil be forgiven.	26 Puis il fera fumer toute la graisse sur l’autel, comme on fait pour la graisse des sacrifices de communion. C’est ainsi que le prêtre fera l’expiation du péché pour cet homme, et celui-ci sera pardonné.
27 "If one of the country people sins inadvertently and incurs guilt by doing something forbidden byYahweh's commandments	27 Si quelqu’un du peuple du pays a péché par erreur, s’il s’est rendu coupable en faisant une de ces choses que Yahvé a défendu de faire:
28 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a she-goat as his offeringfor the sin which he has committed, an unblemished female.	28 il amènera comme offrande pour le péché qu’il a commis une chèvre, une femelle sans défaut.
29 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered.	29 Il posera sa main sur la tête de la bête et l’égorgera dans le lieu où l’on offre les holocaustes.
30 The priest wil take some of its blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings.He will then pour all the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	30 Le prêtre prendra avec son doigt du sang de la victime; il en mettra sur les cornes de l’autel des holocaustes et versera le reste du sang au pied de cet autel.
31 He will then remove al the fat, as the fat was removed for the communion sacrifice, and the priest wilburn it on the altar as a smell pleasing to Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform the rite of expiation forhim, and he wil be forgiven.	31 Il enlèvera toute la graisse, comme on le fait dans le sacrifice de communion, et le prêtre la fera fumer sur l’autel, comme agréable odeur pour Yahvé. C’est ainsi que le prêtre fera l’expiation pour cet homme, et celui-ci sera pardonné.
32 "If he wishes to bring a lamb as an offering for this kind of sacrifice, he must bring an unblemishedfemale.	32 S’il amène une jeune brebis en sacrifice pour le péché, il prendra une femelle sans défaut.
33 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it as a sacrifice for sin on the spot wherethe burnt offerings are slaughtered.	33 Il posera sa main sur la tête de la bête et l’égorgera en sacrifice pour le péché à l’endroit où l’on immole les holocaustes.
34 The priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	34 Le prêtre prendra avec son doigt du sang de la victime, il en mettra sur les cornes de l’autel des holocaustes et il versera le reste du sang au pied de cet autel.
35 He will then remove al the fat, as was done for the sheep in the communion sacrifice, and the priestwil burn it as food burnt for Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform for him the rite of expiation for the sinwhich he has committed, and he wil be forgiven." '	35 Il enlèvera toute la graisse comme on enlève la graisse de l’agneau dans le sacrifice de communion. Le prêtre la fera fumer sur l’autel par-dessus les sacrifices par le feu pour Yahvé. C’est ainsi que le prêtre fera l’expiation pour cet homme, pour le péché qu’il a commis, et cet homme sera pardonné.
