Leviticus 4

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Yahveh habló así a Moisés:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If anyone sins inadvertently against any of Yahweh's commandmentsand does anything prohibited by them,	2 Habla a los israelitas y diles: Si alguien peca por inadvertencia contra cualquiera de los mandamientos de Yahveh sobre lo que no se debe hacer y comete una de estas acciones prohibidas:
3 if the one who sins is the anointed priest, thus making the people guilty, then for the sin which he hascommitted he must offer Yahweh a young bul , an unblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin.	3 Si el que peca es el sacerdote ungido, haciendo culpable al pueblo, entonces ofrecerá a Yahveh por el pecado que ha cometido un novillo sin defecto, como sacrificio por el pecado.
4 He wil bring the bul before Yahweh at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, wil lay his hand on its headand slaughter it before Yahweh.	4 Llevará el novillo a la entrada de la tienda del Encuentro ante Yahveh, impondrá la mano sobre la cabeza del novillo y lo inmolará ante Yahveh.
5 The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood and carry it into the Tent of Meeting.	5 El sacerdote ungido tomará parte de la sangre del novillo y la llevará a la Tienda del Encuentro.
6 He wil then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the sanctuary curtain, beforeYahweh.	6 El sacerdote mojará su dedo en la sangre y rociará con ella siete veces ante Yahveh frente al velo del Santuario.
7 The priest will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of incense smoking before Yahweh inthe Tent of Meeting, and wil pour al the rest of the bul 's blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting.	7 El sacerdote pondrá parte de la sangre en los cuernos del altar del incienso aromático ante Yahveh en la Tienda del Encuentro, y verterá toda la sangre del novillo al pie del altar de los holocaustos que se encuentra a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
8 "Of the bul offered as a sacrifice for sin, he wil set aside all the fat: the fat covering the entrails, al the fat on the entrails,	8 De todo el sebo del novillo sacrificado por el pecado, reservará el sebo que cubre las entrañas y todo el que hay sobre las mismas;
9 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys-	9 los dos riñones y el sebo adherido a ellos y a los lomos, y el resto que cubre el hígado; quitará todo este sebo junto con los riñones, -
10 exactly as was done with the portion set aside in the communion sacrifice -- and the priest will burnthese pieces on the altar of burnt offerings.	10 todo como lo reservado del novillo del sacrificio de comunión - y el sacerdote lo quemará sobre el altar de los holocaustos.
11 "The bul 's skin and al its meat, its head, its shins, its entrails and its offal,	11 La piel del novillo, toda su carne, con su cabeza y sus patas, sus entrañas con los excrementos,
12 the whole bul he wil then have carried out of the camp to a clean place, the place where the fattyashes are thrown, and wil burn it on a wood fire; it must be burnt where the ashes are thrown.	12 el novillo entero, lo sacará fuera del campamento, a un lugar puro, al vertedero de las cenizas. 13 "If the whole community of Israel has sinned inadvertently and, without being aware of it has incurredguilt by doing something forbidden by Yahweh's commandments,	13 Si toda la comunidad de Israel peca por inadvertencia, haciendo cualquiera de las cosas prohibidas por los mandamientos de Yahveh, haciéndose así culpable, quedando el hecho oculto a los ojos de la asamblea;
14 once the sin of which it is guilty has been discovered, the community must offer a young bul , anunblemished animal from the herd, as a sacrifice for sin, and bring it in front of the Tent of Meeting.	14 en cuanto llegue a saberse el pecado cometido en ella, la asamblea ofrecerá un novillo en sacrificio por el pecado. Lo llevarán ante la Tienda del Encuentro;
15 The elders of the community wil then lay their hands on the bul 's head before Yahweh, and the bulwil be slaughtered before Yahweh.	15 los ancianos de la comunidad impondrán las manos sobre la cabeza del novillo ante Yahveh y se inmolará el novillo ante Yahveh.
16 "The anointed priest wil then take some of the bul 's blood into the Tent of Meeting.	16 Luego, el sacerdote ungido llevará parte de la sangre del novillo a la Tienda del Encuentro;
17 He will then dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times in front of the curtain, beforeYahweh.	17 el sacerdote mojará su dedo en la sangre y rociará siete veces ante Yahveh frente al velo.
18 He will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar standing before Yahweh inside the Tent ofMeeting, and then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to theTent of Meeting.	18 Pondrá parte de la sangre en los cuernos del altar que se halla ante Yahveh en la Tienda del Encuentro, y derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar de los holocaustos, situado a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
19 "He wil then set aside al the fat from the animal and burn it on the altar.	19 Reservará todo el sebo del novillo y lo quemará en el altar,
20 He will then deal with the bul as he did with the bul in the sacrifice for sin. It wil be dealt with in thesame way; and once the priest has performed the rite of expiation for the people, they will be forgiven.	20 haciendo con este novillo como con el novillo del sacrificio por el pecado. Lo mismo hará con él. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por ellos y se les perdonará.
21 "He wil then have the bul carried out of the camp and wil burn it as he burned the first one. This is thesacrifice for the sin of the community.	21 Sacará el novillo fuera del campamento y lo quemará como el novillo anterior. Este es el sacrificio por el pecado de la asamblea.
22 "When a leader has sinned and inadvertently incurred guilt by doing something forbidden by thecommandments of Yahweh his God	22 Si es un príncipe el que ha pecado, haciendo por inadvertencia cualquiera de las cosas prohibidas por los mandamientos de Yahveh su Dios, haciéndose así culpable;
23 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a he-goat as his offering,an unblemished male.	23 si se le advierte del pecado cometido, llevará como ofrenda un macho cabrío sin defecto.
24 He will then lay his hand on the goat's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered before Yahweh. This is a sacrifice for sin;	24 Impondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío y lo inmolará en el lugar donde se inmola el holocausto ante Yahveh. Es un sacrificio por el pecado.
25 the priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour the rest of its blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offerings	25 El sacerdote mojará su dedo en la sangre de la víctima, untará los cuernos del altar de los holocaustos y derramará la sangre al pie del altar de los holocaustos.
26 and burn al the fat on the altar, as with the fat in the communion sacrifice. This is how the priest mustperform the rite of expiation for him to free him from his sin, and he wil be forgiven.	26 Quemará todo el sebo en el altar como el sebo del sacrificio de comunión. 27 "If one of the country people sins inadvertently and incurs guilt by doing something forbidden byYahweh's commandments	27 Si uno cualquiera del pueblo de la tierra peca por inadvertencia haciendo algo prohibido por los mandamientos de Yahveh, haciéndose así culpable;
28 (or if the sin which he has committed is drawn to his attention), he must bring a she-goat as his offeringfor the sin which he has committed, an unblemished female.	28 si se le advierte del pecado cometido, presentará como ofrenda por el pecado cometido una cabra sin defecto.
29 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it on the spot where the burnt offerings areslaughtered.	29 Impondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la víctima y la inmolará en el mismo lugar de los holocaustos.
30 The priest wil take some of its blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings.He will then pour all the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	30 El sacerdote mojará su dedo en la sangre, untará los cuernos del altar de los holocaustos, y derramará toda la sangre al pie del altar.
31 He will then remove al the fat, as the fat was removed for the communion sacrifice, and the priest wilburn it on the altar as a smell pleasing to Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform the rite of expiation forhim, and he wil be forgiven.	31 Separará todo el sebo de la víctima, como se separa el sebo de un sacrificio de comunión, y el sacerdote lo quemará en el altar como calmante aroma para Yahveh. El sacerdote hará así expiación por él y se le perdonará.
32 "If he wishes to bring a lamb as an offering for this kind of sacrifice, he must bring an unblemishedfemale.	32 Si lleva un cordero como ofrenda suya por el pecado, sea lo que lleve una hembra sin defecto;
33 He will then lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it as a sacrifice for sin on the spot wherethe burnt offerings are slaughtered.	33 impondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la víctima y la inmolará como sacrificio por el pecado en el lugar donde se inmola el holocausto.
34 The priest wil take some of the victim's blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burntofferings. He will then pour al the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	34 El sacerdote mojará su dedo en la sangre de la víctima y untará los cuernos del altar de los holocaustos, y derramará toda la sangre al pie del mismo altar.
35 He will then remove al the fat, as was done for the sheep in the communion sacrifice, and the priestwil burn it as food burnt for Yahweh. This is how the priest must perform for him the rite of expiation for the sinwhich he has committed, and he wil be forgiven." '	35 Separará todo el sebo de la víctima, como se separa el sebo del cordero del sacrificio de comunión, y el sacerdote lo quemará en el altar, junto con los manjares abrasados de Yahveh. El sacerdote hará expiación por él, por el pecado cometido, y se le perdonará.
