1 Thus says Yahweh: Make fair judgement your concern, act with justice, for soon my salvation wil comeand my saving justice be manifest.	1 Così parla il Signore: « Osservate il diritto e praticate la giustizia, perchè la mia salvezza è vicina ad arrivare, e la mia giustizia a manifestarsi.
2 Blessed is anyone who does this, anyone who clings to it, observing the Sabbath, not profaning it, andabstaining from every evil deed.	2 Beato l'uomo che farà questo, e il figlio dell'uomo che vi si atterrà, osservando il sabato senza profanarlo, serbando pure le sue mani senza fare alcun male.
3 No foreigner adhering to Yahweh should say, 'Yahweh wil utterly exclude me from his people.' Noeunuch should say, 'Look, I am a dried-up tree.'	3 E il figlio dello straniero, che si unisce al Signore, non si metta a dire: « Il Signore mi ha separato del tutto dal suo popolo ». E l'eunuco non dica: « Ecco io sono un legno secco »,
4 For Yahweh says this: To the eunuchs who observe my Sabbaths and choose to do my good pleasureand cling to my covenant,	4 perchè il Signore dice così agli eunuchi, a quelli che osserveranno i miei sabati ed eleggeranno quello che mi è gradito e manterranno il mio patto:
5 I shal give them in my house and within my wal s a monument and a name better than sons anddaughters; I shal give them an everlasting name that will never be effaced.	5 « Io darò ad essi nella mia casa e dentro le mie mura un posto e un nome migliore di quello di figli e a di figlie: darò loro un nome eterno che non perirà giammai.
6 As for foreigners who adhere to Yahweh to serve him, to love Yahweh's name and become hisservants, al who observe the Sabbath, not profaning it, and cling to my covenant:	6 E i figli dello straniero, uniti al Signore, per venerarlo ed amare il suo nome, per essere suoi servi, tutti quelli che osservano i miei sabati senza profanarli, e mantengono il mio patto,
7 these I shall lead to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burntofferings and sacrifices wil be accepted on my altar, for my house wil be called a house of prayer for allpeoples.	7 li condurrò alla mia santa montagna, li farò lieti nella mia casa d'orazione, i loro olocausti, le loro vittime mi saran gradite sul mio altare, perchè la mia casa sarà chiamata casa d'orazione per tutti i popo­li ».
8 Lord Yahweh who gathers the exiles of Israel declares: There are others I shal gather besides thosealready gathered.	8 Dice il Signore Dio che ra­duna i dispersi d'Israele: « Radu­nerò ancora intorno a lui con quel­li già radunati ».
9 Come and gorge, al you wild beasts, al you beasts of the forest!	9 Voi tutte, o bestie dei campi, venite a divorare, voi tutte, o fiere del bosco.
10 Its watchmen are all blind, they know nothing. Dumb watchdogs all, unable to bark, they dream, liedown, and love to sleep.	10 Le sue sentinelle son tutte cieche, tutte senza intendimen­to; son cani muti che non sanno latrare: che vedon dei fantasmi, dormono e amano i sogni.
11 Greedy dogs, never satisfied, such are the shepherds, who understand nothing; they al go their ownway, each to the last man after his own interest.	11 E questi sfacciatissimi cani non sanno esser sazi. Gli stessi pasto­ri son privi d'intelligenza, ognu­no di essi va per la sua strada, ognuno al suo interesse, dal pri­mo all'ultimo.
12 'Come, let me fetch wine; we wil get drunk on strong drink, tomorrow will be just as wonderful astoday and even more so!'	12 « Venite, tracan­niamo il vino, riempiamoci fino all'ubriachezza, e come oggi sarà domani, e molto più ».
