Isaiah 56

1 Thus says Yahweh: Make fair judgement your concern, act with justice, for soon my salvation wil comeand my saving justice be manifest.	1 Queste cose dice il Signore: Custodite l'equità, ed esercitate la giustizia: perocché la salute, ch'io mando, è vicina a venire, e la mia giustizia a manifestarsi.
2 Blessed is anyone who does this, anyone who clings to it, observing the Sabbath, not profaning it, andabstaining from every evil deed.	2 Beato l'uomo, che cosi opera, e il figliuolo dell'uomo, che ciò riterrà con fermezza; che osserva il sabato, e nol profana, che serba pure le mani per non far alcun male.
3 No foreigner adhering to Yahweh should say, 'Yahweh wil utterly exclude me from his people.' Noeunuch should say, 'Look, I am a dried-up tree.'	3 E il figliuolo dello straniero, che si unisce al Signore, non dica: Il Signore con muro di divisione mi separerà dal suo popolo. E l'eunuco non dica: Ecco, che io sono un legno secco.
4 For Yahweh says this: To the eunuchs who observe my Sabbaths and choose to do my good pleasureand cling to my covenant,	4 Imperocché queste cose dice il Signore agli eunuchi: coloro, che osserveranno i miei sabati, e ameranno quello, ch'io voglio, e manterranno il patto con me:
5 I shal give them in my house and within my wal s a monument and a name better than sons anddaughters; I shal give them an everlasting name that will never be effaced.	5 Darò loro nella mia casa, e dentro le mie muraglie un posto, ed un nome migliore di quello, che danno i figli, e le faglie: un nome sempiterno io darò loro, che mai perirà.
6 As for foreigners who adhere to Yahweh to serve him, to love Yahweh's name and become hisservants, al who observe the Sabbath, not profaning it, and cling to my covenant:	6 E i figliuoli dello straniero, che si uniscono al Signore per onorarlo, e amare il nome di lui, e per essere a lui servi; e chiunque osserva il sabato, né lo profana, e mantiene il patto con me:
7 these I shall lead to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burntofferings and sacrifices wil be accepted on my altar, for my house wil be called a house of prayer for allpeoples.	7 Li condurrò io al mio monte santo, e li consolerò nella casa mia d'orazione: i loro olocausti, e le loro vittime poste sul mio altare saranno accette a me; perocché la casa mia sarà chiamata casa d'orazione per tutte le genti.
8 Lord Yahweh who gathers the exiles of Israel declares: There are others I shal gather besides thosealready gathered.	8 Dice il Signore Dio, che raduna i dispersi d'Israele: Io tuttora a lui riunirò tutti quelli, che a lui si riuniranno.
9 Come and gorge, al you wild beasts, al you beasts of the forest!	9 Bestie tutte dei campi, fiere del bosco tutte quante venite a divorare.
10 Its watchmen are all blind, they know nothing. Dumb watchdogs all, unable to bark, they dream, liedown, and love to sleep.	10 Le sue sentinelle, tutti ciechi, tutti quanti senza intelletto: cani muti impotenti a latrare, visionari, addormentati amanti de' sogni.
11 Greedy dogs, never satisfied, such are the shepherds, who understand nothing; they al go their ownway, each to the last man after his own interest.	11 E questi sfacciatissimi cani non sanno mai essere sazi. I pastori stessi sono privi d'intelligenza: tutti per la loro strada sen vanno, ciascuno al proprio interesse, dal massimo sino all'infimo.
12 'Come, let me fetch wine; we wil get drunk on strong drink, tomorrow will be just as wonderful astoday and even more so!'	12 Venite, beviamo, e ubriachiamoci,e quel, che e oggi, sarà ancor domane, e molto più.
