Isaiah 56

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 Thus says Yahweh: Make fair judgement your concern, act with justice, for soon my salvation wil comeand my saving justice be manifest.	1 COSÌ ha detto il Signore: Osservate quel ch’è diritto, e fate quel ch’è giusto; perciocchè la mia salute è vicina a venire, e la mia giustizia ad essere rivelata.
2 Blessed is anyone who does this, anyone who clings to it, observing the Sabbath, not profaning it, andabstaining from every evil deed.	2 Beato l’uomo che farà questo, e il figliuol dell’uomo che vi si atterrà; che osserverà il sabato, per non profanarlo; e guarderà la sua mano, per non fare alcun male
3 No foreigner adhering to Yahweh should say, 'Yahweh wil utterly exclude me from his people.' Noeunuch should say, 'Look, I am a dried-up tree.'	3 E non dica il figliuol del forestiere, che si sarà aggiunto al Signore: Il Signore mi ha del tutto separato dal suo popolo; e non dica l’eunuco: Ecco, io sono un albero secco.
4 For Yahweh says this: To the eunuchs who observe my Sabbaths and choose to do my good pleasureand cling to my covenant,	4 Perciocchè, così ha detto il Signore intorno agli eunuchi: Quelli che osserveranno i miei sabati, ed eleggeranno di far ciò che mi piace, e si atterranno al mio patto;
5 I shal give them in my house and within my wal s a monument and a name better than sons anddaughters; I shal give them an everlasting name that will never be effaced.	5 io darò loro nella mia Casa, e dentro delle mie mura, un luogo ed un nome, migliore che di figliuoli e di figliuole; io darò loro un nome eterno, il quale giammai non sarà sterminato.
6 As for foreigners who adhere to Yahweh to serve him, to love Yahweh's name and become hisservants, al who observe the Sabbath, not profaning it, and cling to my covenant:	6 E quant’è ai figliuoli del forestiere, che si saranno aggiunti al Signore, per servirgli, e per amare il Nome del Signore, per essergli servitori; tutti quelli che osserveranno il sabato, per non profanarlo, e che si atterranno al mio patto;
7 these I shall lead to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burntofferings and sacrifices wil be accepted on my altar, for my house wil be called a house of prayer for allpeoples.	7 io li condurrò al monte della mia santità, e li rallegrerò nella mia Casa d’orazione; gli olocausti loro, e i sacrificii loro mi saranno a grado in sul mio Altare; perciocchè la mia Casa sarà chiamata: Casa d’orazione per tutti i popoli.
8 Lord Yahweh who gathers the exiles of Israel declares: There are others I shal gather besides thosealready gathered.	8 Il Signore Iddio, che raccoglie gli scacciati d’Israele, dice: Ancora ne accoglierò degli altri a lui, oltre a quelli de’ suoi che saranno già raccolti
9 Come and gorge, al you wild beasts, al you beasts of the forest!	9 VENITE per mangiare, voi tutte le bestie della campagna, tutte le fiere delle selve.
10 Its watchmen are all blind, they know nothing. Dumb watchdogs all, unable to bark, they dream, liedown, and love to sleep.	10 Tutte le sue guardie son cieche, non hanno alcun conoscimento; essi tutti son cani mutoli, non sanno abbaiare; vaneggiano, giacciono, amano il sonnecchiare.
11 Greedy dogs, never satisfied, such are the shepherds, who understand nothing; they al go their ownway, each to the last man after his own interest.	11 E questi cani ingordi non sanno che cosa sia l’esser satollo, e questi pastori non sanno che cosa sia intendimento; ciascun di loro si è volto alla sua via, ciascuno alla sua cupidigia, dal canto suo.
12 'Come, let me fetch wine; we wil get drunk on strong drink, tomorrow will be just as wonderful astoday and even more so!'	12 Venite, dicono, io recherò del vino, e noi c’inebbrieremo di cervogia; e il giorno di domani sarà come questo, anzi vie più grande
