1 [For the choirmaster On stringed instruments Poem Of David When the Ziphites went to Saul andsaid,'Is not David hiding with us?'] God, save me by your name, in your power vindicate me.	1 למנצח בנגינת משכיל לדוד בבוא הזיפים ויאמרו לשאול הלא דוד מסתתר עמנו אלהים בשמך הושיעני ובגבורתך תדינני
2 God, hear my prayer, listen to the words I speak.	2 אלהים שמע תפלתי האזינה לאמרי פי
3 Arrogant men are attacking me, bullies hounding me to death, no room in their thoughts forGod.Pause	3 כי זרים קמו עלי ועריצים בקשו נפשי לא שמו אלהים לנגדם סלה
4 But now God is coming to my help, the Lord, among those who sustain me.	4 הנה אלהים עזר לי אדני בסמכי נפשי
5 May their wickedness recoil on those who lie in wait for me. Yahweh, in your constancy destroy them.	5 ישוב הרע לשררי באמתך הצמיתם
6 How gladly wil I offer you sacrifice, and praise your name, for it is good,	6 בנדבה אזבחה לך אודה שמך יהוה כי טוב
7 for it has rescued me from al my troubles, and my eye has feasted on my enemies.	7 כי מכל צרה הצילני ובאיבי ראתה עיני
