2 God, hear my prayer, listen to the words I speak.	2 Lorsque les gens de Ziph sont venus dire à Saül: “David s’est caché parmi nous”.
3 Arrogant men are attacking me, bullies hounding me to death, no room in their thoughts forGod.Pause	3 Ô Dieu, sauve-moi par ton Nom, toi, le Vaillant, fais-moi justice.
4 But now God is coming to my help, the Lord, among those who sustain me.	4 Ô Dieu, entends ma prière, prête l’oreille aux paroles de ma bouche.
5 May their wickedness recoil on those who lie in wait for me. Yahweh, in your constancy destroy them.	5 Car des arrogants m’attaquent, des violents en veulent à ma vie. Ils n’ont pas pensé à Dieu.
6 How gladly wil I offer you sacrifice, and praise your name, for it is good,	6 Mais voici qu’il vient à mon secours, il se joint à ceux qui me soutiennent.
7 for it has rescued me from al my troubles, and my eye has feasted on my enemies.	7 Que le mal les surprenne quand ils guettent ma chute; toi, Dieu fidèle, détruis-les.
	8 Je te ferai des offrandes généreuses et je chanterai ton Nom, Seigneur, car il est bon.
	9 Oui, tu me délivreras de toutes mes épreuves et je verrai à terre mes ennemis.
