Psalms 43

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Judge me, God, defend my cause against a people who have no faithful love; from those who aretreacherous and unjust, rescue me.	1 Sii il mio giudice, o Dio, e la mia causa difendi da gente non santa, da uomini di frode e di nequizia liberami.
2 For you are the God of my strength; why abandon me? Why must I go around in mourning, harrassedby the enemy?	2 Poiché tu sei il Dio del mio rifugio, perché ti tieni lontano da me? Perché triste devo camminare sotto l'oppressione del nemico?
3 Send out your light and your truth; they shal be my guide, to lead me to your holy mountain to theplace where you dwell.	3 Manda la tua luce e la tua verità: esse mi guidino, mi conducano sul tuo monte santo e alle tue dimore,
4 Then I shal go to the altar of God, to the God of my joy. I wil rejoice and praise you on the harp, OGod, my God.	4 affinché possa accostarmi all'altare di Dio, al Dio della mia gioiosa esultanza, e possa lodar sulla cetra te, o Dio, mio Dio.
5 Why so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him stil , my Saviour, my God.	5 Perché ti abbatti, anima mia, e fremi dentro di me? Spera in Dio, perché ancora potrò lodarlo, salvezza del mio volto e mio Dio.
