Psalms 43

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 Judge me, God, defend my cause against a people who have no faithful love; from those who aretreacherous and unjust, rescue me.	1 O DIO, fammi ragione, e dibatti la mia lite; Liberami dalla gente spietata, dall’uomo frodolente ed iniquo.
2 For you are the God of my strength; why abandon me? Why must I go around in mourning, harrassedby the enemy?	2 Perciocchè tu sei l’Iddio della mia fortezza; perchè mi hai scacciato? Perchè vo io attorno vestito a bruno, Per l’oppression del nemico?
3 Send out your light and your truth; they shal be my guide, to lead me to your holy mountain to theplace where you dwell.	3 Manda la tua luce, e la tua verità; guidinmi esse, Ed introducanmi al monte della tua santità, e ne’ tuoi tabernacoli.
4 Then I shal go to the altar of God, to the God of my joy. I wil rejoice and praise you on the harp, OGod, my God.	4 Allora verrò all’Altare di Dio, all’Iddio dell’allegrezza del mio giubilo; E ti celebrerò colla cetera, o Dio, Dio mio.
5 Why so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him stil , my Saviour, my God.	5 Perchè ti abbatti, anima mia? e perchè ti commovi in me? Aspetta Iddio; perciocchè ancora lo celebrerò; Egli è la compiuta salvezza della mia faccia, e il mio Dio
