Psalms 43

NEW JERUSALEM	MODERN HEBREW BIBLE
1 Judge me, God, defend my cause against a people who have no faithful love; from those who aretreacherous and unjust, rescue me.	1 שפטני אלהים וריבה ריבי מגוי לא חסיד מאיש מרמה ועולה תפלטני
2 For you are the God of my strength; why abandon me? Why must I go around in mourning, harrassedby the enemy?	2 כי אתה אלהי מעוזי למה זנחתני למה קדר אתהלך בלחץ אויב
3 Send out your light and your truth; they shal be my guide, to lead me to your holy mountain to theplace where you dwell.	3 שלח אורך ואמתך המה ינחוני יביאוני אל הר קדשך ואל משכנותיך
4 Then I shal go to the altar of God, to the God of my joy. I wil rejoice and praise you on the harp, OGod, my God.	4 ואבואה אל מזבח אלהים אל אל שמחת גילי ואודך בכנור אלהים אלהי
5 Why so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him stil , my Saviour, my God.	5 מה תשתוחחי נפשי ומה תהמי עלי הוחילי לאלהים כי עוד אודנו ישועת פני ואלהי
