1 [For the choirmaster Of David Psalm] I waited, I waited for Yahweh, then he stooped to me and heardmy cry for help.	1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ לְדָוִד מִזְמֹור
2 He pul ed me up from the seething chasm, from the mud of the mire. He set my feet on rock, andmade my footsteps firm.	2 קַוֹּה קִוִּיתִי יְהוָה וַיֵּט אֵלַי וַיִּשְׁמַע שַׁוְעָתִי
3 He put a fresh song in my mouth, praise of our God. Many wil be awestruck at the sight, and will puttheir trust in Yahweh.	3 וַיַּעֲלֵנִי ׀ מִבֹּור שָׁאֹון מִטִּיט הַיָּוֵן וַיָּקֶם עַל־סֶלַע רַגְלַי כֹּונֵן אֲשֻׁרָי
4 How blessed are those who put their trust in Yahweh, who have not sided with rebels and those whohave gone astray in falsehood.	4 וַיִּתֵּן בְּפִי ׀ שִׁיר חָדָשׁ תְּהִלָּה לֵאלֹהֵינוּ יִרְאוּ רַבִּים וְיִירָאוּ וְיִבְטְחוּ בַּיהוָה
5 How much you have done, Yahweh, my God -- your wonders, your plans for us -- you have no equal. Iwil proclaim and speak of them; they are beyond number.	5 אַשְׁרֵי הַגֶּבֶר אֲשֶׁר־שָׂם יְהֹוָה מִבְטַחֹו וְלֹא־פָנָה אֶל־רְהָבִים וְשָׂטֵי כָזָב
6 You wanted no sacrifice or cereal offering, but you gave me an open ear, you did not ask for burntoffering or sacrifice for sin;	6 רַבֹּות עָשִׂיתָ ׀ אַתָּה ׀ יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי נִפְלְאֹתֶיךָ וּמַחְשְׁבֹתֶיךָ אֵלֵינוּ אֵין ׀ עֲרֹךְ אֵלֶיךָ אַגִּידָה וַאֲדַבֵּרָה עָצְמוּ מִסַּפֵּר
7 then I said, 'Here I am, I am coming.' In the scrol of the book it is written of me,	7 זֶבַח וּמִנְחָה ׀ לֹא־חָפַצְתָּ אָזְנַיִם כָּרִיתָ לִּי עֹולָה וַחֲטָאָה לֹא שָׁאָלְתָּ
8 my delight is to do your will; your law, my God, is deep in my heart.	8 אָז אָמַרְתִּי הִנֵּה־בָאתִי בִּמְגִלַּת־סֵפֶר כָּתוּב עָלָי
9 I proclaimed the saving justice of Yahweh in the great assembly. See, I will not hold my tongue, as youwel know.	9 לַעֲשֹׂות־רְצֹונְךָ אֱלֹהַי חָפָצְתִּי וְתֹורָתְךָ בְּתֹוךְ מֵעָי
10 I have not kept your saving justice locked in the depths of my heart, but have spoken of yourconstancy and saving help. I have made no secret of your faithful and steadfast love, in the great assembly.	10 בִּשַּׂרְתִּי צֶדֶק ׀ בְּקָהָל רָב הִנֵּה פָתַי לֹא אֶכְלָא יְהוָה אַתָּה יָדָעְתָּ
11 You, Yahweh, have not withheld your tenderness from me; your faithful and steadfast love will alwaysguard me.	11 צִדְקָתְךָ לֹא־כִסִּיתִי ׀ בְּתֹוךְ לִבִּי אֱמוּנָתְךָ וּתְשׁוּעָתְךָ אָמָרְתִּי לֹא־כִחַדְתִּי חַסְדְּךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ לְקָהָל רָב
12 For troubles surround me, until they are beyond number; my sins have overtaken me; I cannot seemy way. They outnumber the hairs of my head, and my heart fails me.	12 אַתָּה יְהוָה לֹא־תִכְלָא רַחֲמֶיךָ מִמֶּנִּי חַסְדְּךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ תָּמִיד יִצְּרוּנִי
13 Be pleased, Yahweh, to rescue me, Yahweh, come quickly and help me!	13 כִּי אָפְפוּ־עָלַי ׀ רָעֹות עַד־אֵין מִסְפָּר הִשִּׂיגוּנִי עֲוֹנֹתַי וְלֹא־יָכֹלְתִּי לִרְאֹות עָצְמוּ מִשַּׂעֲרֹות רֹאשִׁי וְלִבִּי עֲזָבָנִי
14 Shame and dismay to al who seek to take my life. Back with them, let them be humiliated whodelight in my misfortunes.	14 רְצֵה יְהוָה לְהַצִּילֵנִי יְהוָה לְעֶזְרָתִי חוּשָׁה
15 Let them be aghast with shame, those who say to me, 'Aha, aha!'	15 יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ ׀ יַחַד מְבַקְשֵׁי נַפְשִׁי לִסְפֹּותָהּ יִסֹּגוּ אָחֹור וְיִכָּלְמוּ חֲפֵצֵי רָעָתִי
16 But joy and happiness in you to all who seek you! Let them ceaselessly cry, 'Great is Yahweh' wholove your saving power.	16 יָשֹׁמּוּ עַל־עֵקֶב בָּשְׁתָּם הָאֹמְרִים לִי הֶאָח ׀ הֶאָח
17 Poor and needy as I am, the Lord has me in mind. You, my helper, my Saviour, my God, do notdelay.	17 יָשִׂישׂוּ וְיִשְׂמְחוּ ׀ בְּךָ כָּל־מְבַקְשֶׁיךָ יֹאמְרוּ תָמִיד יִגְדַּל יְהוָה אֹהֲבֵי תְּשׁוּעָתֶךָ
	18 וַאֲנִי ׀ עָנִי וְאֶבְיֹון אֲדֹנָי יַחֲשָׁב לִי עֶזְרָתִי וּמְפַלְטִי אַתָּה אֱלֹהַי אַל־תְּאַחַר
	19 הַפֶּסֶל נָסַךְ חָרָשׁ וְצֹרֵף בַּזָּהָב יְרַקְּעֶנּוּ וּרְתֻקֹות כֶּסֶף צֹורֵף
	20 הַמְסֻכָּן תְּרוּמָה עֵץ לֹא־יִרְקַב יִבְחָר חָרָשׁ חָכָם יְבַקֶּשׁ־לֹו לְהָכִין פֶּסֶל לֹא יִמֹּוט
	21 הֲלֹוא תֵדְעוּ הֲלֹוא תִשְׁמָעוּ הֲלֹוא הֻגַּד מֵרֹאשׁ לָכֶם הֲלֹוא הֲבִינֹתֶם מֹוסְדֹות הָאָרֶץ
	22 הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל־חוּג הָאָרֶץ וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ כַּחֲגָבִים הַנֹּוטֶה כַדֹּק שָׁמַיִם וַיִּמְתָּחֵם כָּאֹהֶל לָשָׁבֶת
	23 הַנֹּותֵן רֹוזְנִים לְאָיִן שֹׁפְטֵי אֶרֶץ כַּתֹּהוּ עָשָׂה
	24 אַף בַּל־נִטָּעוּ אַף בַּל־זֹרָעוּ אַף בַּל־שֹׁרֵשׁ בָּאָרֶץ גִּזְעָם וְגַם־נָשַׁף בָּהֶם וַיִּבָשׁוּ וּסְעָרָה כַּקַּשׁ תִּשָּׂאֵם׃ ס
	25 וְאֶל־מִי תְדַמְּיוּנִי וְאֶשְׁוֶה יֹאמַר קָדֹושׁ
	26 שְׂאוּ־מָרֹום עֵינֵיכֶם וּרְאוּ מִי־בָרָא אֵלֶּה הַמֹּוצִיא בְמִסְפָּר צְבָאָם לְכֻלָּם בְּשֵׁם יִקְרָא מֵרֹב אֹונִים וְאַמִּיץ כֹּחַ אִישׁ לֹא נֶעְדָּר׃ ס
	27 לָמָּה תֹאמַר יַעֲקֹב וּתְדַבֵּר יִשְׂרָאֵל נִסְתְּרָה דַרְכִּי מֵיְהוָה וּמֵאֱלֹהַי מִשְׁפָּטִי יַעֲבֹור
	28 הֲלֹוא יָדַעְתָּ אִם־לֹא שָׁמַעְתָּ אֱלֹהֵי עֹולָם ׀ יְהוָה בֹּורֵא קְצֹות הָאָרֶץ לֹא יִיעַף וְלֹא יִיגָע אֵין חֵקֶר לִתְבוּנָתֹו
	29 נֹתֵן לַיָּעֵף כֹּחַ וּלְאֵין אֹונִים עָצְמָה יַרְבֶּה
	30 וְיִעֲפוּ נְעָרִים וְיִגָעוּ וּבַחוּרִים כָּשֹׁול יִכָּשֵׁלוּ
	31 וְקֹויֵ יְהוָה יַחֲלִיפוּ כֹחַ יַעֲלוּ אֵבֶר כַּנְּשָׁרִים יָרוּצוּ וְלֹא יִיגָעוּ יֵלְכוּ וְלֹא יִיעָפוּ׃ פ
