1 [For the choirmaster Of David Psalm] I waited, I waited for Yahweh, then he stooped to me and heardmy cry for help.	1 Del maestro de coro. De David. Salmo.
2 He pul ed me up from the seething chasm, from the mud of the mire. He set my feet on rock, andmade my footsteps firm.	2 En Yahveh puse toda mi esperanza, él se inclinó hacia mí y escuchó mi clamor.
3 He put a fresh song in my mouth, praise of our God. Many wil be awestruck at the sight, and will puttheir trust in Yahweh.	3 Me sacó de la fosa fatal, del fango cenagoso; asentó mis pies sobre la roca, consolidó mis pasos.
4 How blessed are those who put their trust in Yahweh, who have not sided with rebels and those whohave gone astray in falsehood.	4 Puso en mi boca un canto nuevo, una alabanza a nuestro Dios; muchos verán y temerán, y en Yahveh tendrán confianza.
5 How much you have done, Yahweh, my God -- your wonders, your plans for us -- you have no equal. Iwil proclaim and speak of them; they are beyond number.	5 Dichoso el hombre aquel que en Yahveh pone su confianza, y no se va con los rebeldes, que andan tras la mentira.
6 You wanted no sacrifice or cereal offering, but you gave me an open ear, you did not ask for burntoffering or sacrifice for sin;	6 ¡Cuántas maravillas has hecho, Yahveh, Dios mío, qué de designios con nosotros: no hay comparable a ti! Yo quisiera publicarlos, pregonarlos, mas su número excede toda cuenta.
7 then I said, 'Here I am, I am coming.' In the scrol of the book it is written of me,	7 Ni sacrificio ni oblación querías, pero el oído me has abierto; no pedías holocaustos ni víctimas,
8 my delight is to do your will; your law, my God, is deep in my heart.	8 dije entonces: Heme aquí, que vengo. Se me ha prescrito en el rollo del libro
9 I proclaimed the saving justice of Yahweh in the great assembly. See, I will not hold my tongue, as youwel know.	9 hacer tu voluntad. Oh Dios mío, en tu ley me complazco en el fondo de mi ser.
10 I have not kept your saving justice locked in the depths of my heart, but have spoken of yourconstancy and saving help. I have made no secret of your faithful and steadfast love, in the great assembly.	10 He publicado la justicia en la gran asamblea; mira, no he contenido mis labios, tú lo sabes, Yahveh.
11 You, Yahweh, have not withheld your tenderness from me; your faithful and steadfast love will alwaysguard me.	11 No he escondido tu justicia en el fondo de mi corazón, he proclamado tu lealtad, tu salvación, ne he ocultado tu amor y tu verdad a la gran asamblea.
12 For troubles surround me, until they are beyond number; my sins have overtaken me; I cannot seemy way. They outnumber the hairs of my head, and my heart fails me.	12 Y tú, Yahveh, no contengas tus ternuras para mí. Que tu amor y tu verdad incesantes me guarden.
13 Be pleased, Yahweh, to rescue me, Yahweh, come quickly and help me!	13 Pues desdichas me envuelven en número incontable. Mis culpas me dan caza, y no puedo ya ver; más numerosas son que los cabellos de mi cabeza, y el corazón me desampara.
14 Shame and dismay to al who seek to take my life. Back with them, let them be humiliated whodelight in my misfortunes.	14 ¡Dígnate, oh Yahveh, librarme, Yahveh, corre en mi ayuda!
15 Let them be aghast with shame, those who say to me, 'Aha, aha!'	15 ¡Queden avergonzados y confusos todos juntos los que buscan mi vida para cercenarla! ¡Atrás, sean confundidos los que desean mi mal!
16 But joy and happiness in you to all who seek you! Let them ceaselessly cry, 'Great is Yahweh' wholove your saving power.	16 Queden consternados de vergüenza los que dicen contra mí: «¡Ja, Ja!»
17 Poor and needy as I am, the Lord has me in mind. You, my helper, my Saviour, my God, do notdelay.	17 ¡En ti se gocen y se alegren todos los que te buscan! Repitan sin cesar: «¡Grande es Yahveh!», los que aman tu salvación.
	18 Y yo, pobre soy y desdichado, pero el Señor piensa en mí; tú, mi socorro y mi libertador, oh Dios mío, no tardes.
