Psalms 14

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [For the choirmaster Of David] The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.' Their deeds arecorrupt and vile, not one of them does right.	1 Del maestro de coro. De David. El necio se dice a sí mismo: «No hay Dios». Todos están pervertidos, hacen cosas abominables, nadie practica el bien.
2 Yahweh looks down from heaven at the children of Adam. To see if a single one is wise, a single oneseeks God.	2 El Señor observa desde el cielo a los seres humanos, para ver si hay alguien que sea sensato, alguien que busque a Dios.
3 Al have turned away, all alike turned sour, not one of them does right, not a single one.	3 Todos están extraviados, igualmente corrompidos; nadie practica el bien, ni siquiera uno solo.
4 Are they not aware, all these evil-doers? They are devouring my people, this is the bread they eat, andthey never call to Yahweh.	4 Nunca aprenderán los malvados, los que devoran a mi pueblo como si fuera pan, y no invocan al Señor?
5 They wil be gripped with fear, where there is no need for fear, for God takes the side of the upright;	5 Miren cómo tiemblan de espanto, porque Dios está a favor de los justos.
6 you may mock the plans of the poor, but Yahweh is their refuge.	6 ustedes se burlan de las aspiraciones del pobre, pero el Señor es su refugio.
7 Who wil bring from Zion salvation for Israel? When Yahweh brings his people home, what joy forJacob, what happiness for Israel!	7 ¡Ojalá venga desde Sión la salvación de Israel! Cuando el Señor cambie la suerte de su pueblo, se alegrará Jacob, se regocijará Israel.
