1 Al eluia! Praise, servants of Yahweh, praise the name of Yahweh.	1 Alleluia. Lodate, servi del Signore, lodate il nome del Signore.
2 Blessed be the name of Yahweh, henceforth and for ever.	2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, ora e sempre.
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, praised be the name of Yahweh!	3 Dal sorgere del sole al suo tramonto sia lodato il nome del Signore.
4 Supreme over al nations is Yahweh, supreme over the heavens his glory.	4 Eccelso è il Signore, al di sopra di tutti i popoli; più alta dei cieli è la sua gloria.
5 Who is like Yahweh our God? His throne is set on high,	5 Chi è come il Signore nostro Dio, che siede nell'alto
6 but he stoops to look down on heaven and earth.	6 e si china a guardare nei cieli e sulla terra?
7 He raises the poor from the dust, he lifts the needy from the dunghill,	7 Egli solleva dalla polvere l'indigente, rialza il povero dall'immondizia,
8 to give them a place among princes, among princes of his people.	8 per farlo sedere con i prìncipi, con i prìncipi del suo popolo.
9 He lets the barren woman be seated at home, the happy mother of sons.	9 Fa abitare in casa la sterile, madre gioiosa di figli. Alleluia.
