1 Al eluia! Praise, servants of Yahweh, praise the name of Yahweh.	1 Hallelujah! Praise, you servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2 Blessed be the name of Yahweh, henceforth and for ever.	2 Blessed be the name of the LORD both now and forever.
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, praised be the name of Yahweh!	3 From the rising of the sun to its setting let the name of the LORD be praised.
4 Supreme over al nations is Yahweh, supreme over the heavens his glory.	4 High above all nations is the LORD; above the heavens God's glory.
5 Who is like Yahweh our God? His throne is set on high,	5 Who is like the LORD, our God enthroned on high,
6 but he stoops to look down on heaven and earth.	6 looking down on heaven and earth?
7 He raises the poor from the dust, he lifts the needy from the dunghill,	7 The LORD raises the needy from the dust, lifts the poor from the ash heap,
8 to give them a place among princes, among princes of his people.	8 Seats them with princes, the princes of the people,
9 He lets the barren woman be seated at home, the happy mother of sons.	9 Gives the childless wife a home, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah!
