Exodus 29

1 'This is what you will do to them, to consecrate them to my priesthood. Take one young bull and tworams without blemish;	1 וזה הדבר אשר תעשה להם לקדש אתם לכהן לי לקח פר אחד בן בקר ואילם שנים תמימם
2 also unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil,made from fine wheat flour,	2 ולחם מצות וחלת מצת בלולת בשמן ורקיקי מצות משחים בשמן סלת חטים תעשה אתם
3 and put these into a basket and present them in the basket, at the same time as the bul and the tworams.	3 ונתת אותם על סל אחד והקרבת אתם בסל ואת הפר ואת שני האילם
4 'You will bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and bathe them.	4 ואת אהרן ואת בניו תקריב אל פתח אהל מועד ורחצת אתם במים
5 You will then take the vestments and dress Aaron in the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod, andthe breastplate, and tie the waistband of the ephod round his waist.	5 ולקחת את הבגדים והלבשת את אהרן את הכתנת ואת מעיל האפד ואת האפד ואת החשן ואפדת לו בחשב האפד
6 Then you will place the turban on his head, and on it put the symbol of holy consecration.	6 ושמת המצנפת על ראשו ונתת את נזר הקדש על המצנפת
7 You will then take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and so anoint him.	7 ולקחת את שמן המשחה ויצקת על ראשו ומשחת אתו
8 'Next, you wil bring his sons and dress them in tunics,	8 ואת בניו תקריב והלבשתם כתנת
9 and fasten waistbands round their waists and put the head-dresses on their heads. By perpetualdecree the priesthood will be theirs. Then you wil invest Aaron and his sons.	9 וחגרת אתם אבנט אהרן ובניו וחבשת להם מגבעת והיתה להם כהנה לחקת עולם ומלאת יד אהרן ויד בניו
10 'You wil bring the bul in front of the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron and his sons wil lay their hands onthe bul 's head.	10 והקרבת את הפר לפני אהל מועד וסמך אהרן ובניו את ידיהם על ראש הפר
11 You wil then slaughter the bull before Yahweh at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	11 ושחטת את הפר לפני יהוה פתח אהל מועד
12 You wil then take some of the bull's blood and with your finger put it on the horns of the altar. Next,pour out the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	12 ולקחת מדם הפר ונתתה על קרנת המזבח באצבעך ואת כל הדם תשפך אל יסוד המזבח
13 And then take al the fat covering the entrails, the fatty mass over the liver, the two kidneys with theircovering fat, and burn them on the altar.	13 ולקחת את כל החלב המכסה את הקרב ואת היתרת על הכבד ואת שתי הכלית ואת החלב אשר עליהן והקטרת המזבחה
14 But the young bul 's flesh, its skin and its offal, you wil burn outside the camp, for this is a sinoffering.	14 ואת בשר הפר ואת ערו ואת פרשו תשרף באש מחוץ למחנה חטאת הוא
15 'Next, you will take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons wil lay their hands on the ram's head.	15 ואת האיל האחד תקח וסמכו אהרן ובניו את ידיהם על ראש האיל
16 You wil then slaughter the ram, take its blood and pour it against the altar, al round.	16 ושחטת את האיל ולקחת את דמו וזרקת על המזבח סביב
17 Next, cut the ram into quarters, wash the entrails and legs and put them on the quarters and head.	17 ואת האיל תנתח לנתחיו ורחצת קרבו וכרעיו ונתת על נתחיו ועל ראשו
18 Then burn the whole ram on the altar. This wil be a burnt offering for Yahweh, a pleasing smel , afood offering burnt for Yahweh.	18 והקטרת את כל האיל המזבחה עלה הוא ליהוה ריח ניחוח אשה ליהוה הוא
19 'Next, you will take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons wil lay their hands on the ram's head.	19 ולקחת את האיל השני וסמך אהרן ובניו את ידיהם על ראש האיל
20 You wil then slaughter the ram, take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, onthe lobes of his sons' right ears, the thumbs of their right hands, and the big toes of their right feet, and pour therest of the blood against the altar, al round.	20 ושחטת את האיל ולקחת מדמו ונתתה על תנוך אזן אהרן ועל תנוך אזן בניו הימנית ועל בהן ידם הימנית ועל בהן רגלם הימנית וזרקת את הדם על המזבח סביב
21 You wil then take some of the blood on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it onAaron and his vestments and on his sons and on his sons' vestments: so that he and his vestments wil beconsecrated and his sons too, and his sons' vestments.	21 ולקחת מן הדם אשר על המזבח ומשמן המשחה והזית על אהרן ועל בגדיו ועל בניו ועל בגדי בניו אתו וקדש הוא ובגדיו ובניו ובגדי בניו אתו
22 'You wil then take the fatty parts of the ram: the tail, the fat covering the entrails, the fatty mass overthe liver, the two kidneys with their covering fat and also the right thigh -- for this is a ram of investiture-	22 ולקחת מן האיל החלב והאליה ואת החלב המכסה את הקרב ואת יתרת הכבד ואת שתי הכלית ואת החלב אשר עליהן ואת שוק הימין כי איל מלאים הוא
23 and a loaf of bread, a cake of bread made with oil, and a wafer, from the basket of unleavened breadbefore Yahweh,	23 וככר לחם אחת וחלת לחם שמן אחת ורקיק אחד מסל המצות אשר לפני יהוה
24 and put it all on the palms of Aaron and his sons, and make the gesture of offering before Yahweh.	24 ושמת הכל על כפי אהרן ועל כפי בניו והנפת אתם תנופה לפני יהוה
25 Then you wil take them back and burn them on the altar, on top of the burnt offering, as a smelpleasing before Yahweh, a food offering burnt for Yahweh.	25 ולקחת אתם מידם והקטרת המזבחה על העלה לריח ניחוח לפני יהוה אשה הוא ליהוה
26 'You wil then take the forequarters of the ram of Aaron's investiture and with it make the gesture ofoffering before Yahweh; this wil be your portion.	26 ולקחת את החזה מאיל המלאים אשר לאהרן והנפת אתו תנופה לפני יהוה והיה לך למנה
27 You wil consecrate the forequarters that have been thus offered, as also the thigh that is set aside --what has been offered and what has been set aside from the ram of investiture of Aaron and his sons.	27 וקדשת את חזה התנופה ואת שוק התרומה אשר הונף ואשר הורם מאיל המלאים מאשר לאהרן ומאשר לבניו
28 This, by perpetual decree, wil be the portion that Aaron and his sons wil receive from the Israelites,since it is the portion set aside, the portion set aside for Yahweh by the Israelites from their communionsacrifices: a portion set aside for Yahweh.	28 והיה לאהרן ולבניו לחק עולם מאת בני ישראל כי תרומה הוא ותרומה יהיה מאת בני ישראל מזבחי שלמיהם תרומתם ליהוה
29 'Aaron's sacred vestments must pass to his sons after him, and they wil wear them for their anointingand investiture.	29 ובגדי הקדש אשר לאהרן יהיו לבניו אחריו למשחה בהם ולמלא בם את ידם
30 Whichever of the sons of Aaron succeeds him in the priesthood and enters the Tent of Meeting toserve in the sanctuary, wil wear them for seven days.	30 שבעת ימים ילבשם הכהן תחתיו מבניו אשר יבא אל אהל מועד לשרת בקדש
31 'You wil take the ram of investiture and cook its meat in a holy place.	31 ואת איל המלאים תקח ובשלת את בשרו במקם קדש
32 Aaron and his sons wil eat the meat of the ram and the bread which is in the basket, at the entranceto the Tent of Meeting.	32 ואכל אהרן ובניו את בשר האיל ואת הלחם אשר בסל פתח אהל מועד
33 They will eat what was used in making expiation for them at their investiture and consecration. Nounauthorised person may eat these; they are holy things.	33 ואכלו אתם אשר כפר בהם למלא את ידם לקדש אתם וזר לא יאכל כי קדש הם
34 If any of the meat from the investiture sacrifice, or the bread, should be left til morning, you wil burnwhat is left. It may not be eaten; it is a holy thing.	34 ואם יותר מבשר המלאים ומן הלחם עד הבקר ושרפת את הנותר באש לא יאכל כי קדש הוא
35 This is what you wil do for Aaron and his sons, implementing al the orders I have given you. You willtake seven days over their investiture.	35 ועשית לאהרן ולבניו ככה ככל אשר צויתי אתכה שבעת ימים תמלא ידם
36 'On each of the days you wil also offer a young bull as a sacrifice for sin, in expiation. You wil offer asin sacrifice for the altar when you make expiation for it; then you wil consecrate it by anointing it.	36 ופר חטאת תעשה ליום על הכפרים וחטאת על המזבח בכפרך עליו ומשחת אתו לקדשו
37 For seven days you will make expiation for the altar, then you wil consecrate it; it will then beespecial y holy, and whatever touches the altar wil become holy.	37 שבעת ימים תכפר על המזבח וקדשת אתו והיה המזבח קדש קדשים כל הנגע במזבח יקדש
38 'This is what you must offer on the altar: two yearling male lambs each day in perpetuity.	38 וזה אשר תעשה על המזבח כבשים בני שנה שנים ליום תמיד
39 The first lamb you wil offer at dawn, and the second at twilight,	39 את הכבש האחד תעשה בבקר ואת הכבש השני תעשה בין הערבים
40 and with the first lamb, one-tenth of a measure of fine flour mixed with one-quarter of a hin ofpounded olive oil and, for a libation, one-quarter of a hin of wine.	40 ועשרן סלת בלול בשמן כתית רבע ההין ונסך רבעית ההין יין לכבש האחד
41 The second lamb you wil offer at twilight, and do it with a similar cereal offering and libation as atdawn, as a pleasing smel , as an offering burnt for Yahweh,	41 ואת הכבש השני תעשה בין הערבים כמנחת הבקר וכנסכה תעשה לה לריח ניחח אשה ליהוה
42 a perpetual burnt offering for al your generations to come, at the entrance to the Tent of Meetingbefore Yahweh, where I shal meet you and speak to you.	42 עלת תמיד לדרתיכם פתח אהל מועד לפני יהוה אשר אועד לכם שמה לדבר אליך שם
43 'There I shal meet the Israelites in the place consecrated by my glory.	43 ונעדתי שמה לבני ישראל ונקדש בכבדי
44 I shal consecrate the Tent of Meeting and the altar; I shall also consecrate Aaron and his sons, to bepriests in my service.	44 וקדשתי את אהל מועד ואת המזבח ואת אהרן ואת בניו אקדש לכהן לי
45 And I shal live with the Israelites and be their God,	45 ושכנתי בתוך בני ישראל והייתי להם לאלהים
46 and they wil know that I am Yahweh their God, who brought them out of Egypt to live among them: I,Yahweh their God.'	46 וידעו כי אני יהוה אלהיהם אשר הוצאתי אתם מארץ מצרים לשכני בתוכם אני יהוה אלהיהם
