Exodus 27

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 'You will make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar wil be squareand three cubits high.	1 Luego harás el altar de madera de acacia; medirá dos metros y medio de largo por dos metros y medio de ancho –es decir, será cuadrado– y tendrá un metro y medio de alto.
2 At its four corners you wil make horns, the horns must be of a piece with it, and you wil overlay it withbronze.	2 En sus cuatro ángulos, y formando una sola pieza con él, le harás unos cuernos. Después lo revestirás de bronce.
3 And for it you will make pans for taking away the fatty ashes, and shovels, sprinkling basins, hooksand fire pans; you wil make al the altar accessories of bronze.	3 Le harás recipientes para recoger las cenizas, y también palas, aspersorios, tenedores y braseros. Todos estos utensilios serán de bronce.
4 You will also make a grating for it of bronze network, and on the four corners of the grating you wilmake four bronze rings.	4 También le harás un enrejado de bronce en forma de red, y en los cuatro extremos de la red deberás ajustar otras tantas argollas de bronce.
5 You will put it below the ledge of the altar, underneath, so that it comes halfway up the altar.	5 Luego pondrás el enrejado debajo de la parte saliente del altar, de manera que la red llegue desde abajo hasta la mitad del altar.
6 You will make shafts for the altar, shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with bronze.	6 Le harás, asimismo, unas andas de madera de acacia revestidas de bronce.
7 The shafts wil be passed through the rings in such a way that the shafts are on either side of the altar,for carrying it.	7 Y cuando haya que transportar el altar, las andas se pasarán por las argollas que están a ambos lados de él.
8 You will make the altar hol ow, out of boards; you wil make it as you were shown on the mountain.	8 Harás el altar de tablas, hueco por dentro, y en su ejecución te ajustarás al modelo que te fue mostrado en la Montaña.
9 'Then you will make the court of the Dwelling. On the south side, the curtaining of the court must be offinely woven linen, one hundred cubits long (for the first side),	9 También harás el atrio de la Morada. Por el lado sur, en dirección al Négueb, el atrio tendrá unas cortinas de lino fino reforzado, dispuestas a lo largo de cincuenta metros.
10 its twenty poles and their twenty sockets being of bronze, and the poles' hooks and rods of silver.	10 Sus veinte columnas se apoyarán sobre veinte bases de bronce, y estarán provistas de ganchos y varillas de plata.
11 So too for the north side, there must be a hundred cubits of curtaining, its twenty poles and theirtwenty sockets being of bronze, and the poles' hooks and rods of silver.	11 A lo largo del lado norte, las cortinas tendrán igualmente una longitud de cincuenta metros, y estarán sostenidas por veinte columnas apoyadas sobre veinte bases de bronce, y provistas de ganchos y varillas de plata.
12 Across the width of the court, on the west side, there must be fifty cubits of curtaining, with its tenpoles and their ten sockets.	12 A lo ancho del atrio, por el lado oeste, habrá veinticinco metros de cortinas, con diez columnas y sus respectivas bases.
13 The width of the court on the east side, facing the sunrise, must be fifty cubits,	13 Y sobre el lado este, hacia el oriente, el ancho del atrio medirá veinticinco metros.
14 with fifteen cubits of curtaining on one side of the entrance, with its three poles and their threesockets,	14 Las cortinas colocadas a un lado de la entrada medirán siete metros y medio de longitud, y allí habrá tres columnas y tres bases.
15 and on the other side of the entrance, fifteen cubits of curtaining, with its three poles and their threesockets;	15 Las del otro lado tendrán las mismas medidas, también con tres columnas y sus respectivas bases.
16 and for the gateway to the court there must be a twenty-cubit screen of finely woven linenembroidered with violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, with its four poles and their four sockets.	16 Un cortinado de diez metros de largo, hecho de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y lino fino reforzado, recamado artísticamente, hará las veces de puerta. Este cortinado colgará de cuatro columnas apoyadas sobre cuatro bases.
17 Al the poles round the court must be connected by silver rods; their hooks must be of silver and theirsockets of bronze.	17 Todas las columnas que rodean el atrio estarán unidas por varillas de plata; sus ganchos serán de plata y sus bases de bronce.
18 The length of the court must be one hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits and its height five cubits. Althe curtaining must be made of finely woven linen, and their sockets of bronze.	18 El atrio tendrá cincuenta metros de largo, por veinticinco de ancho y dos y medio de alto. Todas sus cortinas serán de lino fino reforzado y sus bases de bronce.
19 Al the accessories for general use in the Dwel ing, al its pegs and al the pegs of the court, must beof bronze.	19 Los utensilios para el servicio litúrgico de la Morada, lo mismo que sus estacas y las del atrio serán también de bronce.
20 'You wil order the Israelites to bring you pure pounded olive oil for the light, and to keep a lampburning al the time.	20 Ordenarás a los israelitas que te traigan aceite puro de oliva molida para el candelero, a fin de alimentar constantemente una lámpara.
21 Aaron and his sons wil tend it in the Tent of Meeting, outside the curtain hanging in front of theTestimony, from dusk to dawn, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for al generations of Israelites.'	21 Aarón y sus hijos lo deberán preparar en la Carpa del Encuentro, fuera del velo que está delante del Arca del Testimonio, para que arda en la presencia del Señor, desde la tarde hasta la mañana. Este es un decreto irrevocable para todas las generaciones israelitas.
