1 Then Tobias turned to Raphael.	1 - Allora Tobia chiamò a sè l'angelo, ch'egli stimava esser un uomo, e gli disse: «Fratello Azaria, ti prego, ascoltami.
2 'Brother Azarias,' he said, 'take four servants and two camels and leave for Rhages.	2 Se anche io mi facessi tuo schiavo, non corrisponderei abbastanza a ciò che hai fatto per me.
3 Go to Gabael's house, give him the receipt and see about the money; then invite him to come with youto my wedding feast.	3 Ma pure ti prego di prender con te cavalcature e servi, e d'andare a Gabelo in Rages città de' Medi, a rendergli la sua ricevuta, ritirare il danaro, e pregarlo di venire alle mie nozze.
4 You know that my father must be counting the days and that I cannot lose a single one without worryinghim.	4 Tu sai che il padre mio è molto avanti negli anni, e se ritarderò anche un giorno di più, starà in pena.
5 You see what Raguel has pledged himself to do; I am bound by his oath.' So Raphael left for Rhages inMedia with the four servants and two camels. They stayed with Gabael, and Raphael showed him the receipt.He told him about the marriage of Tobias son of Tobit and gave him his invitation to the wedding feast. Gabaelstarted counting out the sacks to him -- the seals were intact -- and they loaded them on to the camels.	5 D'altra parte, tu vedi come Raguele mi fa premura [di rimanere] , ed lo non posso non tener conto della sua istanza ».
6 Early in the morning they set off together for the feast, and reached Raguel's house where they foundTobias dining. He rose to greet Gabael, who burst into tears and blessed him with the words, 'Excellent son of afather beyond reproach, just and generous in his dealings! The Lord give heaven's blessing to you, to your wife,to your wife's father and mother! Blessed be God for granting me the sight of this living image of my cousinTobit!'	6 Allora Raffaele, presi con sè quattro servi di Raguele e due cammelli, andò a Rages città della Media, e trovato Gabelo gli rese la sua ricevuta e ne ritirò tutto il danaro.
	7 Gli narrò di Tobia figlio di Tobia tutto quel ch'era accaduto, e lo fece venir con sè alle nozze.
	8 Ed entrato Gabelo in casa di Raguele, trovò Tobia a tavola: si alzò questi, e si baciarono l'un l'altro, e Gabelo pianse, e bene disse Dio,
	9 dicendo: « Iddio di Israele ti benedica, perchè sei figlio d'un ottimo e giusto uomo, che, teme Dio e fa elemosine;
	10 venga la benedizione sopra la moglie tua e sui vostri genitori;
	11 possiate vedere i vostri figli, ed i figli dei figli sino alla terza e quarta generazione; e sia la vostra discendenza benedetta dal Dio di Israele, che regna ne' secoli de' secoli ».
	12 Ed avendo tutti risposto: «Amen», si posero a mensa; ma anche il convito di nozze fu celebrato nel timor del Signore.
