1 Then Tobias turned to Raphael.	1 Tóbiás akkor hívta Ráfaelt és így szólt hozzá:
2 'Brother Azarias,' he said, 'take four servants and two camels and leave for Rhages.	2 »Azarja testvér, végy magadhoz négy szolgát, két tevét, indulj Rágesbe. Menj el Gábaelhez, add át neki keze írását, vedd át tőle a pénzt és hívd meg a menyegzőre.
3 Go to Gabael's house, give him the receipt and see about the money; then invite him to come with youto my wedding feast.	3 Tudod jól, hogy apám számlálja a napokat, s ha csak egy napot is kések, nagyon aggódik.
4 You know that my father must be counting the days and that I cannot lose a single one without worryinghim.	4 De azt is tudod, hogyan esketett meg Ráguel, s az ő esküjét sem vethetem meg.«
5 You see what Raguel has pledged himself to do; I am bound by his oath.' So Raphael left for Rhages inMedia with the four servants and two camels. They stayed with Gabael, and Raphael showed him the receipt.He told him about the marriage of Tobias son of Tobit and gave him his invitation to the wedding feast. Gabaelstarted counting out the sacks to him -- the seals were intact -- and they loaded them on to the camels.	5 Ráfael tehát elment négy szolgával és két tevével a médiai Rágesbe és Gábaelnél szálltak meg. Ráfael átadta neki keze írását, s közölte vele, hogy Tóbiás, Tóbit fia házasságot köt Ráguel leányával és hívja őt a menyegzőre. Gábael átadta neki a zsákokat az érintetlen pecsétekkel és tevékre rakták őket.
6 Early in the morning they set off together for the feast, and reached Raguel's house where they foundTobias dining. He rose to greet Gabael, who burst into tears and blessed him with the words, 'Excellent son of afather beyond reproach, just and generous in his dealings! The Lord give heaven's blessing to you, to your wife,to your wife's father and mother! Blessed be God for granting me the sight of this living image of my cousinTobit!'	6 Kora reggel elindultak együtt a menyegzőre. Beléptek Ráguelhez és Tóbiást az asztalnál ülve találták. Fölkelt és üdvözölte őt. Gábael sírt és megáldotta őt ezekkel a szavakkal: »Áldott az Úr, aki békességet adott neked, mert egy jó, kiváló és igaz jótékony apa fia vagy. Az ég Ura áldjon meg téged, feleségedet, apádat és anyádat, feleséged apját és anyját. Áldott az Isten, mert megláthattam Tóbiást, unokatestvérem képmását.«
