Nehemiah 12

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 These are the priests and the Levites who came back with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua:	1 وهؤلاء هم الكهنة واللاويون الذين صعدوا مع زربابل بن شألتيئيل ويشوع. سرايا ويرميا وعزرا
2 Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,	2 وامريا وملوخ وحطوش
3 Amariah, Mal uch, Hattush, Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,	3 وشكنيا ورحوم ومريموث
4 Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,	4 وعدو وجنتوي وابيا
5 Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,	5 وميامين ومعديا وبلجة
6 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,	6 وشمعيا ويوياريب ويدعيا
7 Sal u, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah -- these were the heads of the priests and their kinsmen in the days ofJeshua.	7 وسلو وعاموق وحلقيا ويدعيا. هؤلاء هم رؤوس الكهنة واخوتهم في ايام يشوع
8 The Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah -- this last, with his brothers,was in charge of the songs of praise,	8 واللاويون يشوع وبنوي وقدميئيل وشربيا ويهوذا ومتنيا الذي على التحميد هو واخوته
9 while Bakbukiah and Unno, their col eagues, formed the alternate choir to theirs.	9 وبقبقيا وعنّي اخواهم مقابلهم في الحراسات.
10 Jeshua fathered Joiakim, Joiakim fathered Eliashib, Eliashib fathered Joiada,	10 ويشوع ولد يوياقيم ويوياقيم ولد الياشيب والياشيب ولد يوياداع
11 Joiada fathered Johanan, and Johanan fathered Jaddua.	11 ويوياداع ولد يوناثان ويوناثان ولد يدوع.
12 In the days of Joiakim the heads of the priestly families were: family of Seraiah, Meraiah; ofJeremiah, Hananiah;	12 وفي ايام يوياقيم كان الكهنة رؤوس الآباء لسرايا مرايا وليرميا حننيا
13 of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;	13 ولعزرا مشلام ولامريا يهوحانان
14 of Mal uch, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;	14 ولمليكو يوناثان ولشبنيا يوسف
15 of Harim, Adna; of Meremoth, Helkai;	15 ولحريم عدنا ولمرايوث حلقاي
16 of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshul am;	16 ولعدو زكريا ولجنثون مشلام
17 of Abijah, Zichri; of Minjamin, . . .; of Moadiah, Piltai;	17 ولابيا زكري ولمنيامين لموعديا فلطاي
18 of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;	18 ولبلجة شموع ولشمعيا يهوناثان
19 and of Jojarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;	19 وليوياريب متناي وليدعيا عزي
20 of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;	20 ولسلاي قلاي ولعاموق عابر
21 of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethanel.	21 ولحلقيا حشبيا وليدعيا نثنئيل
22 In the time of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan and Jaddua, the heads of the families of priests wereregistered in the Book of Chronicles, up to the reign of Darius the Persian.	22 وكان اللاويون في ايام الياشيب ويوياداع ويوحانان ويدوع مكتوبين رؤوس آباء والكهنة ايضا في ملك داريوس الفارسي.
23 The Levites who were heads of families were registered in the Book of Chronicles up to the time ofJohanan, grandson of Eliashib.	23 وكان بنو لاوي رؤوس الآباء مكتوبين في سفر اخبار الايام الى ايام يوحانان بن الياشيب.
24 The heads of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, while their brotherswho formed an alternate choir for the hymns of praise and thanksgiving, as David, man of God, had prescribed,section corresponding to section,	24 ورؤوس اللاويين حشبيا وشربيا ويشوع بن قدميئيل واخوتهم مقابلهم للتسبيح والتحميد حسب وصية داود رجل الله نوبة مقابل نوبة.
25 were Mattaniah, Bakbukiah and Obadiah. Meshul am, Talmon and Akkub were the gatekeepersguarding the stores at the gates.	25 وكان متنيا وبقبقيا وعوبديا ومشلام وطلمون وعقوب بوابين حارسين الحراسة عند مخازن الابواب.
26 These lived in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah thegovernor and of Ezra the priest-scribe.	26 كان هؤلاء في ايام يوياقيم بن يشوع بن يوصاداق وفي ايام نحميا الوالي وعزرا الكاهن الكاتب
27 At the dedication of the wal of Jerusalem the Levites were sent for, wherever they lived, to come toJerusalem and joyful y perform the dedication with hymns of thanksgiving and songs to the accompaniment ofcymbals, lyres and harps.	27 وعند تدشين سور اورشليم طلبوا اللاويين من جميع اماكنهم لياتوا بهم الى اورشليم لكي يدشنوا بفرح وبحمد وغناء بالصنوج والرباب والعيدان.
28 Accordingly, the levitical singers assembled from the district round Jerusalem, from the vil ages ofthe Netophathites,	28 فاجتمع بنو المغنين من الدائرة حول اورشليم ومن ضياع النطوفاتي
29 from Beth-Gilgal and from their farms at Geba and Azmaveth -- for the singers had built themselvesvil ages al round Jerusalem.	29 ومن بيت الجلجال ومن حقول جبع وعزموت لان المغنين بنوا لانفسهم ضياعا حول اورشليم.
30 When the priests and Levites had purified themselves, they then purified the people, the gates andthe wal .	30 وتطهر الكهنة واللاويون وطهروا الشعب والابواب والسور.
31 I then made the leaders of Judah come on to the top of the wall and appointed two large choirs. Onemade its way along the top of the wal , to the right, towards the Dung Gate;	31 واصعدت رؤساء يهوذا على السور واقمت فرقتين عظيمتين من الحمادين ووكبت الواحدة يمينا على السور نحو باب الدمن
32 bringing up the rear were Hoshaiah and half the leaders of Judah,	32 وسار وراءهم هوشعيا ونصف رؤساء يهوذا
33 and also Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,	33 وعزريا وعزرا ومشلام
34 Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah and Jeremiah,	34 ويهوذا وبنيامين وشمعيا ويرميا
35 of the priests, with trumpets; then Zechariah son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah,son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph,	35 ومن بني الكهنة بالابواق زكريا بن يوناثان بن شمعيا بن متنيا بن ميخايا بن زكور بن آساف
36 with his kinsmen, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Juda, Hanani, with the musicalinstruments of David, man of God. The scribe Ezra walked at their head.	36 واخوته شمعيا وعزرئيل ومللاي وجللاي وماعاي ونثنئيل ويهوذا وحناني بآلات غناء داود رجل الله وعزرا الكاتب امامهم.
37 At the Fountain Gate they went straight on up the steps of the City of David, along the top of therampart by the stairway of the wal , above the Palace of David as far as the Water Gate, on the east.	37 وعند باب العين الذي مقابلهم صعدوا على درج مدينة داود عند مصعد السور فوق بيت داود الى باب الماء شرقا.
38 The other choir made its way to the left; I and half the leaders of the people fol owed them along thetop of the wal from the Tower of the Furnaces to the Broad Wall,	38 والفرقة الثانية من الحمّادين وكبت مقابلهم وانا وراءها ونصف الشعب على السور من عند برج التنانير الى السور العريض
39 from the Ephraim Gate, the Fish Gate, the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred as far asthe Sheep Gate, and they came to a halt at the Prison Gate.	39 ومن فوق باب افرايم وفوق الباب العتيق وفوق باب السمك وبرج حننئيل وبرج المئة الى باب الضأن ووقفوا في باب السجن.
40 The two choirs then took their places in the Temple of God. But I had half the magistrates with me	40 فوقف الفرقتان من الحمادين في بيت الله وانا ونصف الولاة معي
41 as wel as the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah with thetrumpets,	41 والكهنة الياقيم ومعسيا ومنيامين وميخايا واليوعيناي وزكريا وحننيا بالابواق
42 and Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam and Ezer. The singers sangloudly under the direction of Jezrahiah.	42 ومعسيا وشمعيا والعازار وعزي ويهوحانان وملكيا وعيلام وعازر وغنّى المغنون ويزرحيا الوكيل.
43 There were great sacrifices offered that day and the people rejoiced, God having given them goodcause for rejoicing; the women and children rejoiced too, and the joy of Jerusalem could be heard from far away.	43 وذبحوا في ذلك اليوم ذبائح عظيمة وفرحوا لان الله افرحهم فرحا عظيما وفرح الاولاد والنساء ايضا وسمع فرح اورشليم عن بعد
44 For the rooms intended for the treasures, contributions, first-fruits and tithes, supervisors were thenappointed whose business it was to col ect in them those portions from the town lands awarded by the Law tothe priests and Levites. For Judah rejoiced in the officiating priests and Levites,	44 وتوكل في ذلك اليوم اناس على المخادع للخزائن والرفائع والاوائل الاعشار ليجمعوا فيها من حقول المدن انصبة الشريعة للكهنة واللاويين لان يهوذا فرح بالكهنة واللاويين الواقفين
45 since they -- with the singers and gatekeepers -- performed the liturgy of their God and the rites of purification as ordained by David and his son Solomon.	45 حارسين حراسة الههم وحراسة التطهير وكان المغنون والبوابون حسب وصية داود وسليمان ابنه.
46 For from ancient times, from the days of David and Asaph, they had been the leaders in renderinghymns of praise and thanksgiving to God.	46 لانه في ايام داود وآساف منذ القديم كان رؤوس مغنين وغناء تسبيح وتحميد لله.
47 In the days of Zerubbabel and Nehemiah, al Israel supplied regular daily portions for the singers andgatekeepers, and gave the dedicated contributions to the Levites; and the Levites gave the dedicatedcontributions to the Aaronites.	47 وكان كل اسرائيل في ايام زربابل وايام نحميا يؤدون انصبة المغنين والبوابين امر كل يوم في يومه وكانوا يقدسون للاويين وكان اللاويون يقدسون لبني هرون
