22 In the time of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan and Jaddua, the heads of the families of priests wereregistered in the Book of Chronicles, up to the reign of Darius the Persian.	22 A levita családfők fel vannak jegyezve Eljasib, Jojáda, Johanán és Jeddua napjaiból; a papok pedig a perzsa Dáriusz uralkodásáig.

44 For the rooms intended for the treasures, contributions, first-fruits and tithes, supervisors were thenappointed whose business it was to col ect in them those portions from the town lands awarded by the Law tothe priests and Levites. For Judah rejoiced in the officiating priests and Levites,	44 Még azon a napon férfiakat, papokat és levitákat állítottak a kincstár kamrái élére, hogy oda gyűjtsék össze a falvak földjéről a papok és a leviták részét, amely a törvény szerint megillette őket, mert Júda örömét találta a papokban és a levitákban, akik a szolgálatot végzik.
45 since they -- with the singers and gatekeepers -- performed the liturgy of their God and the rites of purification as ordained by David and his son Solomon.	45 Ők ugyanis pontosan teljesítették Istenük szolgálatát és az engesztelés szolgálatát. 46 For from ancient times, from the days of David and Asaph, they had been the leaders in renderinghymns of praise and thanksgiving to God.	46 Dávid és Ászáf napjaiban ugyanis először állítottak vezetőket az énekesek fölé, akár dicsőítő, akár hálaadó éneket énekeltek Istennek.
47 In the days of Zerubbabel and Nehemiah, al Israel supplied regular daily portions for the singers andgatekeepers, and gave the dedicated contributions to the Levites; and the Levites gave the dedicatedcontributions to the Aaronites.	47 Zerubbábel korában és Nehemiás idejében egész Izrael napról napra részt juttatott az énekeseknek meg a kapuőröknek, és megadta a szent járandóságot a levitáknak. A leviták pedig Áron fiainak adtak a szent járandóságból.
