NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 At the turn of the year, at the time when kings go campaigning, Joab led out the troops and, havingravaged the Ammonites' territory, proceeded to lay siege to Rabbah. David, however, remained in Jerusalem.Joab reduced Rabbah and dismantled it.	1 Az esztendő fordulója után, abban az időben, amikor a királyok hadba szoktak vonulni, az történt, hogy Joáb egybegyűjtötte a hadsereget s a haderőt, s elpusztította Ammon fiainak földjét, majd elment és ostrom alá vette Rabbát. Dávid azonban Jeruzsálemben maradt, amíg Joáb meg nem verte és le nem rontotta Rabbát.
