NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 In his times, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded, and Jehoiakim became his vassal for threeyears, but then rebelled against him a second time.	1 En sus días, Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, hizo una expedición y Yoyaquim le quedó sometido durante tres años. 4 and also because of the innocent blood which he had shed, flooding Jerusalem with innocent blood.Yahweh would not forgive.	4 y también por la sangre inocente que había derramado llenando a Jerusalén de sangre inocente. Yahveh no quiso perdonar.
5 The rest of the history of Jehoiakim, his entire career, is this not recorded in the Book of the Annals ofthe Kings of Judah?	5 El resto de los hechos de Yoyaquim, todo cuanto hizo ¿no está escrito en el libro de los Anales de los reyes de Judá?
6 Then Jehoiakim fell asleep with his ancestors; his son Jehoiachin succeeded him.	6 Se acostó Yoyaquim con sus padres y reinó en su lugar su hijo Joaquín.
7 The king of Egypt did not leave his own country again, because the king of Babylon had conqueredeverywhere belonging to the king of Egypt, from the Torrent of Egypt to the River Euphrates.	7 No volvió a salir de su tierra el rey de Egipto, porque el rey de Babilonia había conquistado, desde el torrente de Egipto hasta el río Eufrates, todo cuanto era del rey de Egipto.
8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he came to the throne, and he reigned for three months inJerusalem. His mother's name was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.	8 Dieciocho años tenía Joaquín cuando comenzó a reinar y reinó tres meses en Jerusalén; el nombre de su madre era Nejustá, hija de Elnatán, de Jerusalén.

18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he came to the throne, and he reigned for eleven years inJerusalem. 20 It was entirely due to Yahweh's anger that this happened to Jerusalem and Judah. It resulted in hiscasting them from his presence.
