Zechariah 5

1 Then I raised my eyes again and saw a scroll flying.	1 Levantando os olhos, olhei e vi um rolo manuscrito que voava.
2 "What do you see?" he asked me. I answered, "I see a scroll flying; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide."	2 {O anjo} disse-me: Que vês? Um rolo que voa, respondi, o qual tem vinte côvados de comprimento por dez de largura.
3 Then he said to me: "This is the curse which is to go forth over the whole earth; in accordance with it shall every thief be swept away, and in accordance with it shall every perjurer be expelled from here.	3 Ele disse-me: Isto é a Maldição que se espalha sobre toda a terra. Todo ladrão será expulso por ela, e todo perjuro será lançado fora por ela.
4 I will send it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall come into the house of the thief, or into the house of him who perjures himself with my name; it shall lodge within his house, consuming it, timber and stones."	4 Eu a deixarei espalhar-se por toda a parte - oráculo do Senhor - e ela forçará a casa do ladrão e a do perjuro; alojar-se-á na casa {de cada um} deles e a aniquilará com a sua madeira e as suas pedras.
5 Then the angel who spoke with me came forward and said to me, "Raise your eyes and see what this is that comes forth."	5 O anjo porta-voz aproximou-se e disse-me: Levanta os teus olhos e vê o que vem lá!
6 "What is it?" I asked. And he answered, "This is a bushel container coming. This is their guilt in all the land."	6 Eu disse: O que é? Ele respondeu: É um efá que aparece, e acrescentou: É a iniqüidade deles por toda a terra.
7 Then a leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting inside the bushel.	7 Eis que foi levantada a tampa de chumbo, e vi uma mulher instalada no efá.
8 "This is Wickedness," he said; and he thrust her inside the bushel, pushing the leaden cover into the opening.	8 Esta mulher, disse ele, é a Iniqüidade! Prendeu-a no efá e tapou a boca do efá com o disco de chumbo.
9 Then I raised my eyes and saw two women coming forth with a wind ruffling their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork. As they lifted up the bushel into the air,	9 Então levantei os olhos e olhei: apareceram duas mulheres, e o vento soprava em suas asas. Tinham asas como de cegonha e levantaram o efá entre o céu e a terra.
10 I said to the angel who spoke with me, "Where are they taking the bushel?"	10 Perguntei então ao porta-voz: Aonde vão elas com o efá?
11 He replied, "To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar; when the temple is ready, they will deposit it there in its place."	11 Ele respondeu-me: Vão construir-lhe uma casa na terra de Senaar, estabelecê-la ali e fixá-la no seu lugar.
