Zechariah 5

1 Then I raised my eyes again and saw a scroll flying.	1 Et conversus sum et levavi ocu los meos et vidi: et ecce volu men volans.
2 "What do you see?" he asked me. I answered, "I see a scroll flying; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide."	2 Et dixit ad me: “Quid tu vides?”. Et dixi: “Ego video volumen volans;longitudo eius viginti cubitorum et latitudo eius decem cubitorum”.
3 Then he said to me: "This is the curse which is to go forth over the whole earth; in accordance with it shall every thief be swept away, and in accordance with it shall every perjurer be expelled from here.	3 Et dixitad me: “Haec est maledictio, quae egreditur super faciem omnis terrae; quiaomnis fur hinc iuxta illud expurgatur, et omnis periurus illinc iuxta illudexpurgatur.
4 I will send it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall come into the house of the thief, or into the house of him who perjures himself with my name; it shall lodge within his house, consuming it, timber and stones."	4 Educo illud, dicit Dominus exercituum, et veniet ad domum furis etad domum iurantis in nomine meo mendaciter; et commorabitur in medio domus eius,et consumet eam et ligna eius et lapides eius”.
5 Then the angel who spoke with me came forward and said to me, "Raise your eyes and see what this is that comes forth."	5 Et egressus est angelus, qui loquebatur in me, et dixit ad me: “Leva,quaeso, oculos tuos et vide. Quid est hoc, quod egreditur?”.
6 "What is it?" I asked. And he answered, "This is a bushel container coming. This is their guilt in all the land."	6 Et dixi: “Quidnamest?”. Et ait: “Haec est epha egrediens”. Et dixit: “Hoc est peccatumeorum in universa terra”.
7 Then a leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting inside the bushel.	7 Et ecce operculum plumbi elevatum est, et eccemulier una sedens in medio ephae.
8 "This is Wickedness," he said; and he thrust her inside the bushel, pushing the leaden cover into the opening.	8 Et dixit: “Haec est impietas”. Etproiecit eam in epham et misit massam plumbeam in os eius.
9 Then I raised my eyes and saw two women coming forth with a wind ruffling their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork. As they lifted up the bushel into the air,	9 Et levavi oculos meos et vidi: et ecce duae mulieres egredientes, et ventus inalis earum, et habebant alas quasi alas milvi; et levaverunt epham inter terramet caelum.
10 I said to the angel who spoke with me, "Where are they taking the bushel?"	10 Et dixi ad angelum, qui loquebatur in me: “Quo istae deferuntepham?”.
11 He replied, "To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar; when the temple is ready, they will deposit it there in its place."	11 Et dixit ad me: “Ut aedificetur ei domus in terra Sennaar; et,postquam constructa fuerit, ponetur ibi super basem suam”.
