2 "The Israelites shall camp, each in his own division, under the ensigns of their ancestral houses. They shall camp around the meeting tent, but at some distance from it.	2 Singuli per turmas, signa, atque vexilla, et domos cognationum suarum, castrametabuntur filii Israël, per gyrum tabernaculi fœderis.
3 "Encamped on the east side, toward the sunrise, shall be the divisional camp of Judah, arranged in companies. (The prince of the Judahites was Nahshon, son of Amminadab,	3 Ad orientem Judas figet tentoria per turmas exercitus sui : eritque princeps filiorum ejus Nahasson filius Aminadab.
4 and his soldiers amounted in the census to seventy-four thousand six hundred.)	4 Et omnis de stirpe ejus summa pugnantium, septuaginta quatuor millia sexcenti.
5 With Judah shall camp the tribe of Issachar (Their prince was Nethanel, son of Zuar,	5 Juxta eum castrametati sunt de tribu Issachar, quorum princeps fuit Nathanaël filius Suar.

12 Beside them shall camp the tribe of Simeon (Their prince was Shelumiel, son of Zurishaddai,	12 Juxta eum castrametati sunt de tribu Simeon : quorum princeps fuit Salamiel filius Surisaddai.

17 "Then the meeting tent and the camp of the Levites shall set out in the middle of the line. As in camp, so also on the march, every man shall be in his proper place, with his own division.	17 Levabitur autem tabernaculum testimonii per officia Levitarum, et turmas eorum : quomodo erigetur, ita et deponetur. Singuli per loca et ordines suos proficiscentur.
18 "On the west side shall be the divisional camp of Ephraim, arranged in companies. (Their prince was Elishama, son of Ammihud,	18 Ad occidentalem plagam erunt castra filiorum Ephraim, quorum princeps fuit Elisama filius Ammiud.
19 and his soldiers amounted in the census to forty thousand five hundred.)	19 Cunctus exercitus pugnatorum ejus, qui numerati sunt, quadraginta millia quingenti.
20 Beside them shall camp the tribe of Manasseh (Their prince was Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur,	20 Et cum eis tribus filiorum Manasse, quorum princeps fuit Gamaliel filius Phadassur.

25 "On the north side shall be the divisional camp of Dan, arranged in companies. (Their prince was Ahiezer, son of Ammishaddai,	25 Ad aquilonis partem castrametati sunt filii Dan : quorum princeps fuit Ahiezer filius Ammisaddai.
26 and his soldiers amounted in the census to sixty-two thousand seven hundred.)	26 Cunctus exercitus pugnatorum ejus, qui numerati sunt, sexaginta duo millia septingenti.
27 Beside them shall camp the tribe of Asher (Their prince was Pagiel, son of Ochran,	27 Juxta eum fixere tentoria de tribu Aser : quorum princeps fuit Phegiel filius Ochran.
28 and his soldiers amounted in the census to forty-one thousand five hundred.)	28 Cunctus exercitus pugnatorum ejus, qui numerati sunt, quadraginta millia et mille quingenti.

32 This was the census of the Israelites taken by ancestral houses. The total number of those registered by companies in the camps was six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.	32 Hic numerus filiorum Israël, per domos cognationum suarum et turmas divisi exercitus, sexcenta tria millia quingenti quinquaginta.
33 The Levites, however, were not registered with the other Israelites, for so the LORD had commanded Moses.	33 Levitæ autem non sunt numerati inter filios Israël : sic enim præceperat Dominus Moysi.
34 The Israelites did just as the LORD had commanded Moses; both in camp and on the march they were in their own divisions, every man according to his clan and his ancestral house.	34 Feceruntque filii Israël juxta omnia quæ mandaverat Dominus.
