2 "The Israelites shall camp, each in his own division, under the ensigns of their ancestral houses. They shall camp around the meeting tent, but at some distance from it.	2 “ Singuli per turmas, signa atque vexilla et domos patrum suorum castrametabuntur filii Israel per gyrum tabernaculi conventus.
3 "Encamped on the east side, toward the sunrise, shall be the divisional camp of Judah, arranged in companies. (The prince of the Judahites was Nahshon, son of Amminadab,	3 Ad orientem Iudas figet tentoria per turmas exercitus sui, fuitque princeps filiorum eius Naasson filius Aminadab;
4 and his soldiers amounted in the census to seventy-four thousand six hundred.)	4 et eius summa pugnantium septuaginta quattuor milia sescenti.
5 With Judah shall camp the tribe of Issachar (Their prince was Nethanel, son of Zuar,	5 Iuxta eum castrametabuntur de tribu Issachar, quorum princeps fuit Nathanael filius Suar;

10 "On the south side shall be the divisional camp of Reuben, arranged in companies. (Their prince was Elizur, son of Shedeur,	10 Vexillum castrorum Ruben ad meridianam plagam erit, secundum exercitus eorum; princeps Elisur filius Sedeur;
11 and his soldiers amounted in the census to forty-six thousand five hundred.)	11 et cunctus exercitus pugnatorum eius, qui numerati sunt, quadraginta sex milia quingenti.
12 Beside them shall camp the tribe of Simeon (Their prince was Shelumiel, son of Zurishaddai,	12 Iuxta eum castrametabuntur de tribu Simeon, quorum princeps fuit Salamiel filius Surisaddai;
13 and his soldiers amounted in the census to fifty-nine thousand three hundred.)	13 et cunctus exercitus pugnatorum eius, qui numerati sunt, quinquaginta novem milia trecenti.
14 and next the tribe of Gad. (Their prince was Eliasaph, son of Reuel,	14 In tribu Gad princeps fuit Eliasaph filius Deuel;

These shall be second on the march.	16 Omnes, qui recensiti sunt in castris Ruben, centum quinquaginta milia et mille quadringenti quinquaginta, per turmas suas in secundo loco proficiscentur.
17 "Then the meeting tent and the camp of the Levites shall set out in the middle of the line. As in camp, so also on the march, every man shall be in his proper place, with his own division.	17 Levabitur deinde tabernaculum conventus, castra Levitarum in medio castrorum, quomodo erigetur ita et deponetur; singuli per loca et vexilla sua proficiscentur.
18 "On the west side shall be the divisional camp of Ephraim, arranged in companies. (Their prince was Elishama, son of Ammihud,	18 Ad occidentalem plagam erit vexillum castrorum filiorum Ephraim per turmas suas, quorum princeps fuit Elisama filius Ammiud;
19 and his soldiers amounted in the census to forty thousand five hundred.)	19 cunctus exercitus pugnatorum eius, qui numerati sunt, quadraginta milia quingenti.
20 Beside them shall camp the tribe of Manasseh (Their prince was Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur,	20 Et cum eis tribus filiorum Manasse, quorum princeps fuit Gamaliel filius Phadassur;
21 and his soldiers amounted in the census to thirty-two thousand two hundred.)	21 cunctusque exercitus pugnatorum eius, qui numerati sunt, triginta duo milia ducenti.
22 and the tribe of Benjamin. (Their prince was Abidan, son of Gideoni,	22 In tribu filiorum Beniamin princeps fuit Abidan filius Gedeonis;

25 "On the north side shall be the divisional camp of Dan, arranged in companies. (Their prince was Ahiezer, son of Ammishaddai,	25 Ad aquilonis partem stabit vexillum castrorum filiorum Dan secundum exercitus suos, quorum princeps fuit Ahiezer filius Ammisaddai;
26 and his soldiers amounted in the census to sixty-two thousand seven hundred.)	26 cunctus exercitus pugnatorum eius, qui numerati sunt, sexaginta duo milia septingenti.
27 Beside them shall camp the tribe of Asher (Their prince was Pagiel, son of Ochran,	27 Iuxta eum figet tentoria tribus Aser, quorum princeps fuit Phegiel filius Ochran;
28 and his soldiers amounted in the census to forty-one thousand five hundred.)	28 cunctus exercitus pugnatorum eius, qui numerati sunt, quadraginta milia et mille quingenti.
29 and next the tribe of Naphtali. (Their prince was Ahira, son of Enan,	29 De tribu filiorum Nephthali princeps fuit Ahira filius Enan;
30 and his soldiers amounted in the census to fifty-three thousand four hundred.	30 cunctus exercitus pugnatorum eius quinquaginta tria milia quadringenti.
31 The total number of those registered by companies in the camp of Dan was one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred.) These shall be the last of the divisions on the march."	31 Omnes, qui numerati sunt in castris Dan, fuerunt centum quinquaginta septem milia sescenti, et novissimi proficiscentur secundum vexilla sua ”.
32 This was the census of the Israelites taken by ancestral houses. The total number of those registered by companies in the camps was six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.	32 Hic numerus filiorum Israel, per domos patrum suorum omnes recensiti secundum exercitus suos, sescenta tria milia quingenti quinquaginta.
33 The Levites, however, were not registered with the other Israelites, for so the LORD had commanded Moses.	33 Levitae autem non sunt numerati inter filios Israel; sic enim praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
34 The Israelites did just as the LORD had commanded Moses; both in camp and on the march they were in their own divisions, every man according to his clan and his ancestral house.	34 Feceruntque filii Israel iuxta omnia, quae mandaverat Dominus: castrametati sunt per vexilla sua et profecti per tribus ad domos patrum suorum.
