1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 O Senhor falou a Moisés, dizendo;
2 "Give the Israelites these instructions: When you have entered the land that I will give you for your homesteads,	2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando entrardes na terra da vossa habitação, que eu vos hei-de dar,
3 if you make to the LORD a sweet-smelling oblation from the herd or from the flock, in holocaust, in fulfillment of a vow, or as a freewill offering, or for one of your festivals,	3 e oferecerdes ao Senhor algum holocausto ou vítima, quer em cumprimento dos vossos votos, quer de vossa livre vontade, ou fazendo queimar nas vossas solenidades, de odor de suavidade para o Senhor, bois ou ovelhas,
4 whoever does so shall also present to the LORD a cereal offering consisting of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil,	4 todo aquele que imolar uma vitima, oferecerá em sacrifício a décima parte de efa de flor de farinha amassada com a quarta parte de um hin de azeite,
5 as well as a libation of a fourth of a hin of wine, with each lamb sacrificed in holocaust or otherwise.	5 e dará esta mesma medida de vinho para fazer as libações, por cada cordeiro.
6 With each sacrifice of a ram you shall present a cereal offering of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil,	6 Por cada carneiro, a oblação será de duas dízimas de flor de farinha, amassada com a terça parte de um hin de azeite:
7 and a libation of a third of a hin of wine, thus making a sweet-smelling offering to the LORD.	7 oferecerá para as libações um terço da mesma medida de vinho em cheiro de suavidade para o Senhor.
8 When you sacrifice an ox as a holocaust, or in fulfillment of a vow, or as a peace offering to the LORD,	8 Quando, porém, ofereceres um holocausto de bois, quer para cumprires um voto, quer em sacrifício pacífico,
9 with it you shall present a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil,	9 darás por cada boi três dízimas de flor de farinha, amassada com azeite, na medida de meio hin,
10 and a libation of half a hin of wine, as a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	10 e darás a mesma medida de vinho para as libações em oferta de suavíssimo odor para o Senhor.
11 The same is to be done for each ox, ram, lamb or goat.	11 Assim o farás
12 Whatever the number you offer, do the same for each of them.	12 por cada boi, cada carneiro, cada cordeiro e cada cabrito.
13 "All the native-born shall make these offerings in the same way, whenever they present a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	13 Tanto os naturais da terra como os estrangeiros
14 Likewise, in any future generation, any alien residing with you permanently or for a time, who presents a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD, shall do as you do.	14 oferecerão os sacrifícios com o mesmo rito.
15 There is but one rule for you and for the resident alien, a perpetual rule for all your descendants. Before the LORD you and the alien are alike,	15 Será uma mesma lei e ordenação, tanto para vós como para os que são estrangeiros no vosso país.
16 with the same law and the same application of it for the alien residing among you as for yourselves."	16 O Senhor falou a Moisés, dizendo:
17 The LORD said to Moses,	17 Fala aos filhos de Israel e dize-lhes:
18 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land into which I will bring you	18 Quando chegardes à terra, que eu vos hei-de dar,
19 and begin to eat of the food of that land, you shall offer the LORD a contribution	19 e comerdes dos pães daquele país, separareis para o Senhor as primícias
20 consisting of a cake of your first batch of dough. You shall offer it just as you offer a contribution from the threshing floor.	20 do vosso alimento. Assim como separais as primícias das eiras,
21 Throughout your generations you shall give a contribution to the LORD from your first batch of dough.	21 assim também oferecereis ao Senhor as primícias das vossas massas.
22 "When through inadvertence you fail to carry out any of these commandments which the LORD gives to Moses,	22 Quando por ignorância omitirdes algumas destas coisas que o Senhor disse a Moisés,
23 and through Moses to you, from the time the LORD first issues the commandment down through your generations:	23 e que por meio dele vos ordenou, desde o dia em que começou a dar-vos os seus mandamentos,
24 if the community itself unwittingly becomes guilty of the fault of inadvertence, the whole community shall offer the holocaust of one young bull as a sweet-smelling oblation pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed cereal offering and libation, as well as one he-goat as a sin offering.	24 se a multidão vier a cair em qualquer falta por esquecimento, oferecerá um bezerro da manada em holocausto de suavíssimo cheiro para o Senhor, com a sua oblação e as suas libações, como prescrevem as cerimônias, e um bode pelo pecado;
25 Then the priest shall make atonement for the whole Israelite community; thus they will be forgiven the inadvertence for which they have brought their holocaust as an oblation to the LORD.	25 o sacerdote rogará por toda a multidão dos filhos de Israel, e se lhes perdoará, porque não pecaram voluntariamente e ofereceram contudo um holocausto ao Senhor, pela sua inadvertência.
26 Not only the whole Israelite community, but also the aliens residing among you, shall be forgiven, since the fault of inadvertence affects all the people.	26 Será perdoado a toda a multidão dos filhos de Israel, e aos estrangeiros que moram entre eles, porque é uma culpa de todo o povo cometida por ignorância.
27 "However, if it is an individual who sins inadvertently, he shall bring a yearling she-goat as a sin offering,	27 Porém, se uma só pessoa pecar por ignorância, oferecerá uma cabra de um ano pelo seu pecado,
28 and the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for him who sinned inadvertently; when atonement has been made for him, he will be forgiven.	28 e o sacerdote rogará por ela, porque pecou sem o saber diante do Senhor, e lhe alcançará o perdão, e lhe será perdoado.
29 You shall have but one law for him who sins inadvertently, whether he be a native Israelite or an alien residing with you.	29 Uma mesma lei será para todos os que pecarem por ignorância, que sejam naturais quer sejam estrangeiros.
30 "But anyone who sins defiantly, whether he be a native or an alien, insults the LORD, and shall be cut off from among his people.	30 A pessoa, porém, que dizer alguma coisa com a mão levantada (contra Deus), quer seja cidadão quer forasteiro, será eliminado do meio do seu povo, porque foi rebelde contra o Senhor,
31 Since he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment, he must be cut off. He has only himself to blame."	31 porque desprezou a palavra do Senhor e violou o seu preceito; por isso será exterminado, e levará sobre si a sua iniquidade.
32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was discovered gathering wood on the sabbath day.	32 Ora aconteceu que, estando os filhos de Israel no deserto, e encontrando um homem que apanhava lenha no dia de sábado,
33 Those who caught him at it brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly.	33 apresentaram-no a Moisés, a Aarão e a todo o povo.
34 But they kept him in custody, for there was no clear decision as to what should be done with him.	34 Eles meteram-no em prisão, não sabendo o que deviam fazer dele.
35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "This man shall be put to death; let the whole community stone him outside the camp."	35 O Senhor disse a Moisés: Este homem seja morto, todo o povo o apedreje fora dos acampamentos.
36 So the whole community led him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	36 Tendo-o tirado para fora, apedrejaram-no, e ele morreu, como o Senhor tinha mandado.
37 The LORD said to Moses,	37 Disse também o Senhor a Moisés:
38 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them that they and their descendants must put tassels on the corners of their garments, fastening each corner tassel with a violet cord.	38 Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes que façam umas guarnições nas extremidades das suas capas, pondo nelas fitas de púrpura violácea,
39 When you use these tassels, let the sight of them remind you to keep all the commandments of the LORD, without going wantonly astray after the desires of your hearts and eyes.	39 para que, vendo-as, se recordem de todos os mandamentos do Senhor, e não sigam os seus pensamentos nem os seus olhos que os arrastam à infidelidade.
40 Thus you will remember to keep all my commandments and be holy to your God.	40 Assim se recordarão dos preceitos do Senhor e os cumprirão e serão santos para com o seu Deus.
41 I, the LORD, am your God who, as God, brought you out of Egypt that I, the LORD, may be your God."	41 Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus que vos tirei da terra do Egito, para ser vosso Deus.
