1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Így szólt az Úr Mózeshez:
2 "Give the Israelites these instructions: When you have entered the land that I will give you for your homesteads,	2 »Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik: Ha majd bejuttok lakóföldetekre, amelyet én nektek adok
3 if you make to the LORD a sweet-smelling oblation from the herd or from the flock, in holocaust, in fulfillment of a vow, or as a freewill offering, or for one of your festivals,	3 és szarvasmarhából vagy aprómarhából egészen elégő áldozatul vagy vágóáldozatul tűzáldozatot készítetek az Úrnak, akár fogadalmat róttok le, akár jószántotokból mutattok be áldozatot, akár ünnepeiteken gyújtotok kellemes illatot az Úrnak,
4 whoever does so shall also present to the LORD a cereal offering consisting of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil,	4 mindaz, aki áldozati ajándékot mutat be, mutasson be ételáldozatul egy tized éfa lisztlángot, meghintve egy negyed hín mennyiségű olajjal,
5 as well as a libation of a fourth of a hin of wine, with each lamb sacrificed in holocaust or otherwise.	5 italáldozatul pedig adjon ugyanannyi mennyiségű bort az egészen elégő áldozathoz vagy a békeáldozathoz, bárányonként.
6 With each sacrifice of a ram you shall present a cereal offering of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil,	6 Koshoz két tizednyi lisztláng legyen az ételáldozat, egy harmad hínnyi olajjal meghintve,
7 and a libation of a third of a hin of wine, thus making a sweet-smelling offering to the LORD.	7 italáldozatul pedig ugyanezen mértékegység harmadrészét kell bemutatni kellemes illatul az Úrnak.
8 When you sacrifice an ox as a holocaust, or in fulfillment of a vow, or as a peace offering to the LORD,	8 Ha pedig szarvasmarhából készítesz egészen elégő áldozatot vagy vágóáldozatot, fogadalom teljesítése végett vagy békeáldozatul,
9 with it you shall present a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil,	9 három tized lisztlángot adj bikánként, egy fél hín mennyiségű olajjal meghintve,
10 and a libation of half a hin of wine, as a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	10 italáldozatul pedig ugyanennyi mennyiségű bort, kellemes illatú tűzáldozatul az Úrnak.
11 The same is to be done for each ox, ram, lamb or goat.	11 Így cselekedjél bikánként, kosonként, bárányonként vagy gödölyénként.
12 Whatever the number you offer, do the same for each of them.	12 Aszerint, hogy mennyi áldozatot mutattok be, ezt kell mindig tennetek.
13 "All the native-born shall make these offerings in the same way, whenever they present a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	13 Minden bennszülött ugyanazzal a szertartással mutassa be az égőáldozatot kedves illatul az Úrnak.
14 Likewise, in any future generation, any alien residing with you permanently or for a time, who presents a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD, shall do as you do.	14 És minden jövevény, aki veletek lakik vagy köztetek tartózkodik nemzedékről nemzedékre, az égőáldozatot ugyanúgy mutassa be kellemes illatul az Úrnak, ahogyan ti.
15 There is but one rule for you and for the resident alien, a perpetual rule for all your descendants. Before the LORD you and the alien are alike,	15 Egy törvény s egy rendelet legyen számotokra is, a föld jövevénye számára is.«
16 with the same law and the same application of it for the alien residing among you as for yourselves."	16 Így szólt továbbá az Úr Mózeshez:
17 The LORD said to Moses,	17 »Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik:
18 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land into which I will bring you	18 Ha majd eljuttok arra a földre, amelyet én nektek adok,
19 and begin to eat of the food of that land, you shall offer the LORD a contribution	19 és esztek annak az országnak a kenyeréből, adjatok adományt az Úrnak
20 consisting of a cake of your first batch of dough. You shall offer it just as you offer a contribution from the threshing floor.	20 étketekből. Mint ahogy a szérűről adtok adományt,
21 Throughout your generations you shall give a contribution to the LORD from your first batch of dough.	21 úgy adjatok a tésztából is zsengét az Úrnak.
22 "When through inadvertence you fail to carry out any of these commandments which the LORD gives to Moses,	22 Hogyha tudatlanságból elmulasztotok valamit azok közül, amiket az Úr Mózesnek mondott
23 and through Moses to you, from the time the LORD first issues the commandment down through your generations:	23 és általa tinektek azon a napon, amelyen parancsolni kezdett, vagy azután, parancsolt: a következőképpen tegyetek.
24 if the community itself unwittingly becomes guilty of the fault of inadvertence, the whole community shall offer the holocaust of one young bull as a sweet-smelling oblation pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed cereal offering and libation, as well as one he-goat as a sin offering.	24 Ha a közösség felejt el valamit megtenni: mutasson be egy fiatal bikát a csordából egészen elégő áldozatul, kellemes illatul az Úrnak, a szertartások által megkívánt étel- és italáldozatával együtt, meg egy kecskebakot bűnért való áldozatul.
25 Then the priest shall make atonement for the whole Israelite community; thus they will be forgiven the inadvertence for which they have brought their holocaust as an oblation to the LORD.	25 A pap aztán könyörögjön Izrael fiainak egész közösségéért, s ők bocsánatot nyernek, minthogy nem szántszándékkal követték el a bűnt és bemutatták a tűzáldozatot az Úrnak magukért, bűnükért és tévedésükért;
26 Not only the whole Israelite community, but also the aliens residing among you, shall be forgiven, since the fault of inadvertence affects all the people.	26 bocsánatot nyer Izrael fiainak egész népe s a közöttük tartózkodó jövevény, mert az egész népet terheli a tudatlanságból elkövetett bűn.
27 "However, if it is an individual who sins inadvertently, he shall bring a yearling she-goat as a sin offering,	27 Hogyha egy személy követ el tudtán kívül bűnt, mutasson be egy egyesztendős nőstény kecskét bűnéért,
28 and the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for him who sinned inadvertently; when atonement has been made for him, he will be forgiven.	28 s a pap esedezzék érte, mert tudtán kívül bűnt követett el az Úr előtt, s eszközölje ki neki a bocsánatot, s ő bocsánatot nyer.
29 You shall have but one law for him who sins inadvertently, whether he be a native Israelite or an alien residing with you.	29 Bennszülöttnek, jövevénynek, egy törvénye legyen mindenkinek, aki tudtán kívül követ el bűnt.
30 "But anyone who sins defiantly, whether he be a native or an alien, insults the LORD, and shall be cut off from among his people.	30 Aki azonban kevélységből követ el valamit, akár bennszülött, akár idegen (minthogy lázadt az Úr ellen), vesszen el népéből;
31 Since he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment, he must be cut off. He has only himself to blame."	31 mivel az Úr szavát megvetette, s parancsát megszegte, azért irtassék ki: viselje gonoszságát.«
32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was discovered gathering wood on the sabbath day.	32 Történt pedig, hogy amikor Izrael fiai a pusztában voltak, rajtakaptak egy embert, hogy fát szedeget a szombat napján.
33 Those who caught him at it brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly.	33 Erre elvitték őt Mózeshez és Áronhoz meg az egész közösséghez.
34 But they kept him in custody, for there was no clear decision as to what should be done with him.	34 Azok tömlöcbe zárták, mert nem tudták, mit kell vele tenniük.
35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "This man shall be put to death; let the whole community stone him outside the camp."	35 Azt mondta ekkor az Úr Mózesnek: »Halállal lakoljon az az ember: kövezze meg az egész nép a táboron kívül.«
36 So the whole community led him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	36 Ki is vitték és halálra kövezték, amint az Úr megparancsolta Mózesnek.
37 The LORD said to Moses,	37 Azt mondta továbbá az Úr Mózesnek:
38 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them that they and their descendants must put tassels on the corners of their garments, fastening each corner tassel with a violet cord.	38 »Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik, hogy csináljanak maguknak felsőruhájuk sarkaira bojtokat, azokra pedig tegyenek egy-egy kékszínű zsinórt.
39 When you use these tassels, let the sight of them remind you to keep all the commandments of the LORD, without going wantonly astray after the desires of your hearts and eyes.	39 Ha ezeket látják, emlékezzenek meg az Úr minden parancsáról és ne kövessék gondolataikat és szemüket, amelyek oly sokféle dologban paráználkodnak,
40 Thus you will remember to keep all my commandments and be holy to your God.	40 hanem inkább emlékezzenek meg az Úr parancsairól, s tegyék meg azokat, s legyenek szentek Istenüknek.
41 I, the LORD, am your God who, as God, brought you out of Egypt that I, the LORD, may be your God."	41 Én, az Úr, vagyok a ti Istenetek, aki kihoztalak titeket Egyiptom földjéről, hogy Istenetek legyek«.
