1 A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, then we thought we were dreaming.	1 Canto delle ascensioni. Quando il Signore ricondusse i prigionieri di Sion, ci sembrava di sognare.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter; our tongues sang for joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD had done great things for them."	2 Allora la nostra bocca si riempì di sorriso, la nostra lingua di canti di gioia. Allora si diceva fra le genti: "Il Signore ha compiuto grandi cose per loro!".
3 The LORD has done great things for us; Oh, how happy we were!	3 Grandi cose ha compiuto il Signore per noi: eravamo felici!
4 Restore again our fortunes, LORD, like the dry stream beds of the Negeb.	4 Restaura, Signore, le nostre sorti, come i torrenti che scorrono nel Negheb.
5 Those who sow in tears will reap with cries of joy.	5 Quelli che seminano nel pianto, mieteranno nella gioia.
6 Those who go forth weeping, carrying sacks of seed, Will return with cries of joy, carrying their bundled sheaves.	6 Va piangendo colui che porta il seme da gettare; mentre viene con gioia colui che porta i suoi covoni.
