1 A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, then we thought we were dreaming.	1 'Canto delle ascensioni.' Quando il Signore ricondusse i prigionieri di Sion, ci sembrava di sognare.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter; our tongues sang for joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD had done great things for them."	2 Allora la nostra bocca si aprì al sorriso, la nostra lingua si sciolse in canti di gioia. Allora si diceva tra i popoli: "Il Signore ha fatto grandi cose per loro".
3 The LORD has done great things for us; Oh, how happy we were!	3 Grandi cose ha fatto il Signore per noi, ci ha colmati di gioia.
4 Restore again our fortunes, LORD, like the dry stream beds of the Negeb.	4 Riconduci, Signore, i nostri prigionieri, come i torrenti del Negheb.
5 Those who sow in tears will reap with cries of joy.	5 Chi semina nelle lacrime mieterà con giubilo.
6 Those who go forth weeping, carrying sacks of seed, Will return with cries of joy, carrying their bundled sheaves.	6 Nell'andare, se ne va e piange, portando la semente da gettare, ma nel tornare, viene con giubilo, portando i suoi covoni.
