Psalms 126

1 A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, then we thought we were dreaming.	1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter; our tongues sang for joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD had done great things for them."	2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
3 The LORD has done great things for us; Oh, how happy we were!	3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Restore again our fortunes, LORD, like the dry stream beds of the Negeb.	4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
5 Those who sow in tears will reap with cries of joy.	5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 Those who go forth weeping, carrying sacks of seed, Will return with cries of joy, carrying their bundled sheaves.	6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
