1 A song of ascents. Of David. I rejoiced when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."	1 Zarándok-ének. Dávidtól. Örvendeztem, amikor azt mondták nekem: »Az Úr házába megyünk.«
2 And now our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem.	2 És lábunk már itt áll udvaraidban, Jeruzsálem!
3 Jerusalem, built as a city, walled round about.	3 Jeruzsálem városnak épült, részei pompásan egybeillenek.
4 Here the tribes have come, the tribes of the LORD, As it was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.	4 Oda járnak fel a törzsek, az Úr törzsei, hogy Izrael törvénye szerint hálát adjanak az Úr nevének.
5 Here are the thrones of justice, the thrones of the house of David.	5 Ott állnak a bírói székek, Dávid házának székei.
6 For the peace of Jerusalem pray: "May those who love you prosper!	6 Kívánjatok békességet Jeruzsálemnek: »Bőségben éljenek, akik szeretnek téged!
7 May peace be within your ramparts, prosperity within your towers."	7 Békesség legyen falaid között és bőség tornyaidban!«
8 For family and friends I say, "May peace be yours."	8 Testvéreimért és a hozzám közelállókért mondom: »Béke legyen veled!«
9 For the house of the LORD, our God, I pray, "May blessings be yours."	9 Az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek házáért jót kívánok neked.
