1 Hallelujah! Happy are those who fear the LORD, who greatly delight in God's commands.	1 Alléluia! Heureux est l’homme qui craint le Seigneur et qui tient par-dessus tout à ses préceptes!
2 Their descendants shall be mighty in the land, generation upright and blessed.	2 C’est de la bonne race qu’il laissera dans le pays, les rejetons d’un homme droit seront bénis.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in their homes; their prosperity shall endure forever.	3 Biens et richesses se trouvent en sa maison, son honnêteté y restera à jamais.
4 They shine through the darkness, a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and just.	4 Il est pour les cœurs droits lumière dans la nuit, il comprend, il a pitié, il est juste.
5 All goes well for those gracious in lending, who conduct their affairs with justice.	5 Tout ira bien pour qui a pitié et prête et mène ses affaires selon le droit.
6 They shall never be shaken; the just shall be remembered forever.	6 Rien ne viendra l’ébranler: la mémoire du juste jamais ne se perdra.
7 They shall not fear an ill report; their hearts are steadfast, trusting the LORD.	7 Il ne redoute pas la mauvaise nouvelle, car son cœur est prêt, assuré dans le Seigneur.
8 Their hearts are tranquil, without fear, till at last they look down on their foes.	8 Son cœur a sur quoi s’appuyer, il ne craint pas, c’est lui qui, à la fin, méprisera l’adversaire.
9 Lavishly they give to the poor; their prosperity shall endure forever; their horn shall be exalted in honor.	9 Il est généreux pour donner aux pauvres, cette justice restera à jamais, et sa grandeur se tournera en gloire.
10 The wicked shall be angry to see this; they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the desires of the wicked come to nothing.	10 Le méchant voit, et cela lui fait mal, il en grince des dents, il en dépérit; les désirs des méchants, il n’en restera rien!
