1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
2 "See, I have chosen Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,	2 "Vedi, ho chiamato per nome Besaleel, figlio di Uri, figlio di Cur, della tribù di Giuda.
3 and I have filled him with a divine spirit of skill and understanding and knowledge in every craft:	3 L'ho riempito dello spirito di Dio, di sapienza, intelligenza, scienza per ogni opera,
4 in the production of embroidery, in making things of gold, silver or bronze,	4 per far progetti ed eseguirli in oro, argento e bronzo,

6 As his assistant I have appointed Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 8 the table with its appurtenances, the pure gold lampstand with all its appurtenances, the altar of incense,	8 la tavola e i suoi oggetti, il candelabro d'oro puro e tutti i suoi oggetti, l'altare dell'incenso,
9 the altar of holocausts with all its appurtenances, the laver with its base,	9 l'altare dell'olocausto e tutti i suoi oggetti, la vasca e il suo supporto,

12 The LORD said to Moses,	12 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
13 "You must also tell the Israelites: Take care to keep my sabbaths, for that is to be the token between you and me throughout the generations, to show that it is I, the LORD, who make you holy.	13 "Riferisci ai figli d'Israele: Dovrete osservare i miei sabati, perché è un segno tra me e voi per le vostre generazioni, perché sappiate che sono io, il Signore, a santificarvi.
14 Therefore, you must keep the sabbath as something sacred. Whoever desecrates it shall be put to death. If anyone does work on that day, he must be rooted out of his people.	14 Osserverete il sabato, perché è santo per voi: chi lo profanerà sarà messo a morte, perché chiunque vi farà un lavoro sarà eliminato dal mezzo del suo popolo.
15 Six days there are for doing work, but the seventh day is the sabbath of complete rest, sacred to the LORD. Anyone who does work on the sabbath day shall be put to death.	15 Per sei giorni lavorerete, e il settimo giorno è riposo assoluto, sacro al Signore: chiunque farà un lavoro nel settimo giorno sarà messo a morte.
16 So shall the Israelites observe the sabbath, keeping it throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.	16 I figli d'Israele osserveranno il sabato, praticando il sabato nelle loro generazioni. Alleanza perenne.
17 Between me and the Israelites it is to be an everlasting token; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day he rested at his ease."	17 Tra me e i figli d'Israele è un segno perenne, perché in sei giorni il Signore fece il cielo e la terra e nel settimo giorno cessò e respirò".
18 When the LORD had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the commandments, the stone tablets inscribed by God's own finger.	18 Quando ebbe finito di parlare con lui sul monte Sinai, diede a Mosè due tavole della testimonianza, tavole in pietra, scritte con il dito di Dio.
