2 All the acts of his power and valor, as well as a detailed account of the greatness of Mordecai, whom the king promoted, are recorded in the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia.	2 Und alle Erweise seines gewaltigen und machtvollen Wirkens und die genaue Schilderung der hohen Stellung Mardochais, zu der ihn der König erhob, das alles findet sich bekanntlich aufgezeichnet im Buch der Denkwürdigkeiten (oder: Chronik) der medischen und persischen Könige.
3 The Jew Mordecai was next in rank to King Ahasuerus, in high standing among the Jews, and was regarded with favor by his many brethren, as the promoter of his people's welfare and the herald of peace for his whole race.	3 Denn der Jude Mardochai war der Erste im Range nach dem König Ahasveros und hochgeachtet bei den Juden und beliebt bei der Menge seiner Volksgenossen, weil er das Beste seines Volkes suchte und für das Wohl seines ganzen Stammes eintrat.
