του δαυιδ κρινον με κυριε οτι εγω εν ακακια μου επορευθην και επι τω κυριω ελπιζων ου μη ασθενησω1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. Judge me, Lord, for I have been walking in my innocence, and by hoping in the Lord, I will not be weakened.
δοκιμασον με κυριε και πειρασον με πυρωσον τους νεφρους μου και την καρδιαν μου2 Examine me, Lord, and test me: enkindle my temperament and my heart.
οτι το ελεος σου κατεναντι των οφθαλμων μου εστιν και ευηρεστησα εν τη αληθεια σου3 For your mercy is before my eyes, and I am serene in your truth.
ουκ εκαθισα μετα συνεδριου ματαιοτητος και μετα παρανομουντων ου μη εισελθω4 I have not sat with the council of emptiness, and I will not enter with those who carry out injustice.
εμισησα εκκλησιαν πονηρευομενων και μετα ασεβων ου μη καθισω5 I have hated the assembly of the malicious; and I will not sit with the impious.
νιψομαι εν αθωοις τας χειρας μου και κυκλωσω το θυσιαστηριον σου κυριε6 I will wash my hands among the innocent, and I will surround your altar, O Lord,
του ακουσαι φωνην αινεσεως και διηγησασθαι παντα τα θαυμασια σου7 so that I may hear the voice of your praise and describe all your wonders.
κυριε ηγαπησα ευπρεπειαν οικου σου και τοπον σκηνωματος δοξης σου8 O Lord, I have loved the beauty of your house and the dwelling place of your glory.
μη συναπολεσης μετα ασεβων την ψυχην μου και μετα ανδρων αιματων την ζωην μου9 O God, do not let my soul perish with the impious, nor my life with the men of blood,
ων εν χερσιν ανομιαι η δεξια αυτων επλησθη δωρων10 in whose hands are iniquities: their right hand has been filled by bribes.
εγω δε εν ακακια μου επορευθην λυτρωσαι με και ελεησον με11 But as for me, I have been walking in my innocence. Redeem me, and have mercy on me.
ο γαρ πους μου εστη εν ευθυτητι εν εκκλησιαις ευλογησω σε κυριε12 My foot has stood firm in the straight path. In the churches, I will bless you, O Lord.
