1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.	1 A parte que tocou por sorte à tribo de Judá, segundo suas famílias, estendia-se para o limite de Edom até o deserto de Sin, na extremidade meridional da terra.
2 And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:	2 Sua fronteira, ao sul, partia da extremidade do mar Salgado, do braço que ele estende para o meio-dia,
3 And it went out to the south side to Maaleh-acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:	3 e prolongava-se para o sul da subida de Acrabim, passava em Sin e subia para o sul de Cades-Barne, passava em Esron, subindo para Adar e dando volta a Carcaa;
4 From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.	4 passando dali para Asmon, continuava até a torrente do Egito e terminava no mar. Esta a fronteira sul.
5 And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:	5 A fronteira oriental era o mar Salgado, até a embocadura do Jordão. A fronteira setentrional partia do braço do mar, na embocadura do Jordão,
6 And the border went up to Beth-hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:	6 e subia a Bet-Agla, passava ao norte de Bet-Araba e ia até a pedra de Boen, filho de Rubem;
7 And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of En-shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En-rogel:	7 depois subia para Debera, desde o vale de Acor para o norte, olhando para os lados de Gálgala, que está defronte da subida de Adomim, ao sul da torrente. Passava junto das águas de En-Semes e terminava em En-Rogel.
8 And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:	8 Daí subia para o vale de Ben Enom até a vertente meridional de Jebus, que é Jerusalém. Em seguida, elevava-se até o cimo do monte que está fronteiro ao vale de Enom, para o ocidente, e na extremidade do vale dos refains para o norte.
9 And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjath-jearim:	9 Do cimo do monte, estendia-se até a fonte das águas de Neftoa, dirigia-se para as cidades da montanha de Efron, e depois continuava para Baala, que é Cariatiarim.
10 And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:	10 De Baala, a fronteira dava volta para o ocidente até o monte Seir e passava pela vertente setentrional do monte Jarim que é Queslon; descia a Betsames, passava por Tama,
11 And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.	11 e dirigia-se para o norte até a vertente de Acaron; estendia-se para Secrona, passava pelo monte Baala, e ia até Jebneel, terminando no mar.
12 And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.	12 Era o mar Grande que fazia o limite da fronteira ocidental. Tais foram, por todos os lados, as fronteiras dos filhos de Judá, segundo suas famílias.
13 And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.	13 A Caleb, filho de Jefoné, foi dada uma parte no meio dos filhos de Judá, como o Senhor tinha prescrito a Josué: a cidade de Arbé, pai de Enac, isto é, Hebron.
14 And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.	14 Caleb expulsou dela os três filhos de Enac: Sesai, Aimã e Tolmai.
15 And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher.	15 Dali, marchou contra os habitantes de Dabir, que antes se chamava Cariat-Sefer.
16 And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.	16 Eu darei minha filha Axa, disse Caleb, por mulher, àquele que assaltar e tomar Cariat-Sefer.
17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.	17 Otoniel, filho de Cenez, irmão de Caleb, conquistou essa cidade, e Caleb deu-lhe por mulher sua filha Axa.
18 And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?	18 Chegando Axa à casa de Otoniel, ele incitou-a a que pedisse ao seu pai um campo. Ao descer do jumento, Caleb disse-lhe: Que tens?
19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.	19 Ela respondeu: Dá-me um presente. Deste-me uma terra árida: dá-me agora fontes. E ele deu-lhe as fontes superiores e as fontes inferiores.
20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.	20 Tal foi a parte da tribo de Judá, segundo suas famílias.
21 And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,	21 As cidades situadas na extremidade da tribo dos filhos de Judá, para os lados da fronteira de Edom, no Negeb, eram: Cabseel, Eder, Jagur,
22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,	22 Cina, Dimona, Adada,
23 And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,	23 Cades, Asor, Jetnão,
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,	24 Zif, Telem, Balot,
25 And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,	25 Asor; Hadata, Cariot-Hesron, que é Asor;
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,	26 Amão, Sarna, Molada,
27 And Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,	27 Asergada, Hassemon, Betfelet,
28 And Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Bizjothjah,	28 Hasersual, Bersabéia, Baziotia,
29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,	29 Baala, Jim, Esem,
30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,	30 Eltolad, Cesil, Harma,
31 And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,	31 Siceleg, Medemena, Sensena,
32 And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:	32 Lebaot, Selim, Aen e Remon; ao todo vinte e nove cidades com suas aldeias.
33 And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,	33 Na planície: Estaol, Sarea, Asena,
34 And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,	34 Zanoé, Aenganim, Tafua, Enaim,
35 Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,	35 Jerimot, Odolão, Soco, Azeca,
36 And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:	36 Saraim, Aditaim, Gedera e Gederotaim; quatorze cidades com suas aldeias.
37 Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,	37 Sanã, Hadassa, Magdal-Gad,
38 And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,	38 Deleã, Masefa, Jectel,
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,	39 Laquis, Bascat, Eglon,
40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,	40 Quebon, Leemã, Cetlis,
41 And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:	41 Giderot, Bet-Dagon, Naama e Maceda; dezesseis cidades com suas aldeias.
42 Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,	42 Labana, Eter, Asã,
43 And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,	43 Jefta, Esna, Nesib,
44 And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:	44 Ceila, Aczib e Maresa; nove cidades com suas aldeias.
45 Ekron, with her towns and her villages:	45 Acaron com seus arrabaldes e suas aldeias,
46 From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:	46 desde Acaron ao ocidente, todas as cidades vizinhas de Azot e suas aldeias,
47 Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:	47 Azot com seus arrabaldes e suas aldeias, Gaza com seus arrabaldes e suas aldeias até a torrente do Egito e o mar Grande que é o seu limite.
48 And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,	48 Na montanha: Samir, Jeter, Socot,
49 And Dannah, and Kirjath-sannah, which is Debir,	49 Dana, Cariat-Sena, que é Dabir;
50 And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,	50 Anab, Istemo, Anim,
51 And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:	51 Gosen, Olon e Giló; onze cidades com suas aldeias.
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,	52 Arab, Duma, Esaã,
53 And Janum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,	53 Janum, Bet-Tafua, Afeca,
54 And Humtah, and Kirjath-arba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:	54 Atmata, Cariat-Arbé, que é Hebron; e Sior; nove cidades com suas aldeias.
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,	55 Maon, Carmelo, Zif, Jota,
56 And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,	56 Jezrael, Jucadão, Zanoé,
57 Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:	57 Acain, Gabaa e Tamna; dez cidades com suas aldeias.
58 Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,	58 Halhul, Bessur, Gedor,
59 And Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:	59 Maret, Bet-Anot e Eltecon; seis cidades com suas aldeias.
60 Kirjath-baal, which is Kirjath-jearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:	60 Cariat-Baal, que é Cariatiarim e Areba; duas cidades com suas aldeias.
61 In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,	61 No deserto: Bet-Araba, Medin Sacaca,
62 And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En-gedi; six cities with their villages.	62 Nebsã, Ir-Hamelac En-Gadi; seis cidades com suas aldeias.
63 As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.	63 Os filhos de Judá não chegaram a expulsar os jebuseus que habitavam em Jerusalém, de sorte que os jebuseus continuam ainda habitando Jerusalém com os filhos de Judá.
