1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.	1 Il Signore regna, tremino i popoli; siede sui cherubini, si scuota la terra.
2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.	2 Grande è il Signore in Sion, eccelso sopra tutti i popoli.
3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.	3 Lodino il tuo nome grande e terribile, perché è santo.
4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.	4 Re potente che ami la giustizia, tu hai stabilito ciò che è retto, diritto e giustizia tu eserciti in Giacobbe.
5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.	5 Esaltate il Signore nostro Dio, prostratevi allo sgabello dei suoi piedi, perché è santo.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.	6 Mosè e Aronne tra i suoi sacerdoti, Samuele tra quanti invocano il suo nome: invocavano il Signore ed egli rispondeva.
7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.	7 Parlava loro da una colonna di nubi: obbedivano ai suoi comandi e alla legge che aveva loro dato.
8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.	8 Signore, Dio nostro, tu li esaudivi, eri per loro un Dio paziente, pur castigando i loro peccati.
9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.	9 Esaltate il Signore nostro Dio, prostratevi davanti al suo monte santo, perché santo è il Signore, nostro Dio.
