Psalms 99

KING JAMES BIBLE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.	1 Yahweh is king, the peoples tremble; he is enthroned on the winged creatures, the earth shivers;
2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.	2 Yahweh is great in Zion. He is supreme over al nations;
3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.	3 let them praise your name, great and awesome; holy is he
4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.	4 and mighty! You are a king who loves justice, you established honesty, justice and uprightness; inJacob it is you who are active.
5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.	5 Exalt Yahweh our God, bow down at his footstool; holy is he!
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.	6 Moses and Aaron are among his priests, and Samuel, calling on his name; they called on Yahweh andhe answered them.
7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.	7 He spoke with them in the pil ar of fire, they obeyed his decrees, the Law he gave them.
8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.	8 Yahweh our God, you answered them, you were a God of forgiveness to them, but punished them fortheir sins.
9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.	9 Exalt Yahweh our God, bow down at his holy mountain; holy is Yahweh our God!
