1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.	1 Salmo di David: cantico di Aggeo, Geremia, ed Ezechielle al popolo della trasmigrazione, quando principiavano di partire. A te son dovuti, o Signore, gli inni in Sionne: e a te saranno renduti i voti in Gerusalemme.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:	2 Esaudisci, o Dio, la mia orazione: verranno a te tutti gji uomini.
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:	3 Le parole degli iniqui hanno prevaluto sopra di noi: ma tu sarai proprizio alle nostre empietà.
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.	4 Beato colui, cui tu eleggesti, e prendesti in tua società: egli avrà stanza nel tuo tabernacolo.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?	5 Sarem ripieni dei beni della tua casa: santo è il tuo tempio, ammirabile per la giustizia.
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.	6 Ascolta le nostre preghiere, o Dio, Salvator nostro, speranza di tutte le parti della terra, e delle isole più rimote.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.	7 Tu, che dai ai monti fermezza col tuo potere: tu cinto di potenza: tu, che sconvolgi il profondo del mare, e fai romoreggiare i suoi flutti.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.	8 Saranno in agitazione le genti, impauriti gli ultimi abitatori della terra, a causa de' tuoi prodigj: tu spanderai l'allegrezza, e dove nasce il mattino, e dove nasce la sera.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.	9 Tu hai visitato la terra, e la hai inzuppata: tu la hai arricchita di molte maniere.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.	10 Il fiume di Dio è ripieno di acque: hai preparato il loro cibo: perocchè cosi la terra è preparata.
	11 Inebria i rivi di lei: moltiplica i suoi germogli: dell'inaffiamento di lei si rallegrerà tutto quello, che germina.
	12 Tu benedirai la corona dell'anno di tua benignità, e saranno grandemente ubertosi i tuoi campi.
	13 Si impingueranno i monti del deserto, e di letizia cinte saranno le pendici.
	14 Gli arieti de' greggi son ben vestiti, e le valli abbonderanno di frumento: e alzeranno le voci, e canteranno inni di laude.
