1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.	1 Alleluia: lodate Dio. A Te darò laude, o Signore, con tutto il cuor mio: nel consesso de' giusti, e nella adunanza.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.	2 Grandi sono le opere del Signore: appropiate a tutte le sue volontà.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.	3 Gloria, e magnificenza sono le opere di lui: e la sua giustizia è stabile per tutti i secoli.
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.	4 Ha lasciata memoria di sue meraviglie il Signore, che è benigno, e misericordioso: ha dato un cibo a quei, che lo temono.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.	5 Ei sarà memore eternamente di sua alleanza: le opere di sua possanza rivelerà al suo popolo:
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.	6 A' quali darà l'eredità delle genti: le opere delle sue mani son verità, e giustizia.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.	7 Fedeli tutti i comandamenti di lui: confermati per tutti i secoli: fondati nella verità, e nell'equità.
	8 Ha mandata la redenzione al suo popolo: ha stabilito per l'eternità il suo testamento.
	9 Santo, e terribile il nome di lui: principio della sapienza il timor del Signore.
	10 Buono intelletto hanno tutti quelli, che agiscono con questo timore: sarà egli laudato pe' secoli de' secoli.
