1 Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war.	1 Dicséret. Dávidtól. Magasztallak téged, Istenem, királyom, s áldom nevedet örökkön örökké.
2 My mercy, and my refuge: my support, and my deliverer: My protector, and I have hoped in him: who subdueth my people under me.	2 Áldalak téged mindennap, és dicsérem nevedet örökkön örökké.
3 Lord, what is man, that thou art made known to him? or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?	3 Nagy az Úr és méltó a dicséretre, nagysága fölfoghatatlan.
4 Man is like to vanity: his days pass away like a shadow.	4 Nemzedék nemzedéknek dicséri alkotásaidat és hirdeti hatalmadat.
5 Lord, bow down thy heavens and descend: touch the mountains and they shall smoke.	5 Elmondják szentséged fölséges dicsőségét, elbeszélik csodáidat.
6 Send forth lightning, and thou shalt scatter them: shoot out thy arrows, and thou shalt trouble them.	6 Elmondják félelmetes erődet, és hirdetik nagyságodat.
7 Put forth thy hand from on high, take me out, and deliver me from many waters: from the hand of strange children:	7 Megemlékeznek túláradó jóságodról, igazságodat ujjongva ünneplik.
8 Whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity.	8 Irgalmas az Úr és könyörületes, hosszantűrő és nagyirgalmú.
9 To thee, O God, I will sing a new canticle: on the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings I will sing praises to thee.	9 Jó az Úr mindenkihez, és könyörületes minden teremtményéhez.
10 Who givest salvation to kings: who hast redeemed thy servant David from the malicious sword:	10 Magasztaljon téged, Uram, minden műved, és áldjanak szentjeid.
11 Deliver me, And rescue me out of the hand of strange children; whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity:	11 Országod dicsőségét hirdessék és beszéljék el hatalmadat,
12 Whose sons are as new plants in their youth: Their daughters decked out, adorned round about after the similitude of a temple:	12 hogy megismertessék az emberek fiaival hatalmadat, és országodnak fölséges dicsőségét.
13 Their storehouses full, flowing out of this into that. Their sheep fruitful in young, abounding in their goings forth:	13 A te országod örökké tartó ország, és uralmad nemzedékről nemzedékre fönnáll. Hűséges az Úr minden igéjében, és szentséges minden tettében.
14 their oxen fat. There is no breach of wall, nor passage, nor crying out in their streets.	14 Fölemel az Úr mindenkit, aki elesik, és minden elnyomottat fölsegít.
15 They have called the people happy, that hath these things: but happy is that people whose God is the Lord.	15 Mindeneknek szemei tebenned bíznak, Úristen, mert te adsz nekik eledelt, alkalmas időben.
	16 megnyitod kezedet, és betöltesz minden élőt áldásoddal.
	17 Igazságos az Úr minden útjában, és szent minden művében.
	18 Közel van az Úr mindazokhoz, akik segítségül hívják, akik segítségül hívják őt igazságban.
	19 Teljesíti akaratát azoknak, akik őt félik, meghallgatja könyörgésüket és megszabadítja őket.
	20 Megőrzi az Úr mindazokat, akik őt szeretik, de elpusztítja mind a bűnösöket.
	21 Hirdesse szám az Úr dicséretét, és minden élő áldja szent nevét örökkön örökké.
