1 Il Signore regna: tremino i popoli.Siede in trono sui cherubini: si scuota la terra.	1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
2 Grande è il Signore in Sion,eccelso sopra tutti i popoli.	2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
3 Lodino il tuo nome grande e terribile.Egli è santo!	3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
4 Forza del re è amare il diritto.Tu hai stabilito ciò che è retto;diritto e giustizia hai operato in Giacobbe.	4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
5 Esaltate il Signore, nostro Dio,prostratevi allo sgabello dei suoi piedi.Egli è santo!	5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
6 Mosè e Aronne tra i suoi sacerdoti,Samuele tra quanti invocavano il suo nome:invocavano il Signore ed egli rispondeva.	6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
7 Parlava loro da una colonna di nubi:custodivano i suoi insegnamentie il precetto che aveva loro dato.	7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
8 Signore, nostro Dio, tu li esaudivi,eri per loro un Dio che perdona,pur castigando i loro peccati.	8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
9 Esaltate il Signore, nostro Dio,prostratevi davanti alla sua santa montagna,perché santo è il Signore, nostro Dio!	9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
