2 Timothy 3

1 And know this: that in the last days perilous times will press near.	1 ܗܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܝܕܥ ܕܒܝܘܡܬܐ ܐܚܪܝܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܙܒܢܐ ܩܫܝܐ ܀
2 Men will be lovers of themselves, greedy, self-exalting, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, wicked,	2 ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܪܚܡܝ ܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܘܪܚܡܝ ܟܤܦܐ ܫܒܗܪܢܐ ܪܡܐ ܡܓܕܦܢܐ ܕܠܐܢܫܝܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܤܝܢ ܟܦܪܝ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܪܫܝܥܐ ܀
3 without affection, without peace, false accusers, unchaste, cruel, without kindness,	3 ܐܟܠܝ ܩܪܨܐ ܡܫܥܒܕܝ ܠܪܓܬܐ ܒܥܪܝܪܝܐ ܤܢܝܝ ܛܒܬܐ ܀
4 traitorous, reckless, self-important, loving pleasure more than God,	4 ܡܫܠܡܢܐ ܡܤܪܗܒܐ ܚܬܝܪܐ ܪܚܡܝ ܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܚܘܒܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܀
5 even having the appearance of piety while rejecting its virtue. And so, avoid them.	5 ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܤܟܡܐ ܕܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܡܢ ܚܝܠܗ ܪܚܝܩܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܚܘܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢܟ ܀
6 For among these are ones who penetrate houses and lead away, like captives, foolish women burdened with sins, who are led away by means of various desires,	6 ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܚܠܕܝܢ ܒܝܬ ܒܬܐ ܘܫܒܝܢ ܢܫܐ ܕܛܡܝܪܢ ܒܚܛܗܐ ܘܡܬܕܒܪܢ ܠܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܡܫܚܠܦܬܐ ܀
7 always learning, yet never achieving knowledge of the truth.	7 ܕܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܝܠܦܢ ܘܡܡܬܘܡ ܠܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ ܠܡܐܬܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܀
8 And in the same manner that Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so also will these resist the truth, men corrupted in mind, reprobates from the faith.	8 ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܢܤ ܘܝܡܒܪܝܤ ܩܡܘ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܡܘܫܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܗܢܘܢ ܩܝܡܝܢ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܫܪܪܐ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܡܚܒܠ ܪܥܝܢܗܘܢ ܘܤܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܀
9 But they will not advance beyond a certain point. For the folly of the latter shall be made manifest to all, just as that of the former.	9 ܐܠܐ ܠܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܠܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܫܛܝܘܬܗܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܡܬܝܕܥܐ ܗܝ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܦ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܐܬܝܕܥܬ ܀
10 But you have fully comprehended my doctrine, instruction, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,	10 ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܝܬ ܒܬܪ ܝܘܠܦܢܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܕܘܒܪܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܨܒܝܢܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܢܓܝܪܘܬ ܪܘܚܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܚܘܒܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܡܤܝܒܪܢܘܬܝ ܀
11 persecutions, afflictions; such things as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra; how I endured persecutions, and how the Lord rescued me from everything.	11 ܘܒܬܪ ܪܕܝܦܘܬܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܚܫܝ ܘܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܤܝܒܪܬ ܒܐܢܛܝܟܝܐ ܘܒܐܝܩܢܘܢ ܘܒܠܘܤܛܪܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܪܕܝܦܘܬܐ ܤܝܒܪܬ ܘܡܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܦܨܝܢܝ ܡܪܝ ܀
12 And all those who willingly live the piety in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.	12 ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܒܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܢܚܘܢ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܬܪܕܦܝܢ ܀
13 But evil men and deceivers will advance in evil, erring and sending into error.	13 ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܝܫܐ ܘܡܛܥܝܢܐ ܢܘܤܦܘܢ ܥܠ ܒܝܫܘܬܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܛܥܝܢ ܘܡܛܥܝܢ ܀
14 Yet truly, you should remain in those things which you have learned and which have been entrusted to you. For you know from whom you have learned them.	14 ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܩܘܐ ܒܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܠܦܬ ܘܐܫܬܪܪܬ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܓܝܪ ܡܢ ܡܢܘ ܝܠܦܬ ܀
15 And, from your infancy, you have known the Sacred Scriptures, which are able to instruct you toward salvation, through the faith which is in Christ Jesus.	15 ܘܕܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܟ ܤܦܪܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܝܠܝܦ ܐܢܬ ܕܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܕܢܚܟܡܘܢܟ ܠܚܝܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܀
16 All Scripture, having been divinely inspired, is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in justice,	16 ܟܠ ܟܬܒ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܐܬܟܬܒ ܡܘܬܪܢܐ ܗܘ ܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܘܠܟܘܘܢܐ ܘܠܬܘܪܨܐ ܘܠܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܕܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܀
17 so that the man of God may be perfect, having been trained for every good work.	17 ܕܢܗܘܐ ܓܡܝܪ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܟܠ ܥܒܕ ܛܒ ܡܫܠܡܢ ܀
