2 Timothy 3

1 And know this: that in the last days perilous times will press near.	1 וזאת תדע כי באחרית הימים יבאו עתים קשות
2 Men will be lovers of themselves, greedy, self-exalting, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, wicked,	2 כי יהיו האנשים אהבי עצמם ואהבי בצע והוללים וגאים ומגדפים וממרים באבותם וכפויי טובה ולא חסידים
3 without affection, without peace, false accusers, unchaste, cruel, without kindness,	3 חסרי אהבה ובוגדים ומלשינים וזוללים ואכרזים ושנאי טוב
4 traitorous, reckless, self-important, loving pleasure more than God,	4 ומסרים ופחזים וגבהי רוח והלכים אחרי תענוגים יותר מאחרי האלהים
5 even having the appearance of piety while rejecting its virtue. And so, avoid them.	5 ואשר דמיון חסידות להם ומכחשים בכחה ואתה סור מאלה
6 For among these are ones who penetrate houses and lead away, like captives, foolish women burdened with sins, who are led away by means of various desires,	6 כי יש בהם הבאים בלאט אל הבתים ושבים נשים טעונות חטאים ונתעות בתאות שנות
7 always learning, yet never achieving knowledge of the truth.	7 הלמדות תמיד ולעולם אינן יכלות לבוא לידיעת האמת
8 And in the same manner that Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so also will these resist the truth, men corrupted in mind, reprobates from the faith.	8 כי כמו יניס וימבריס אשר קמו על משה כן גם אלה מתקוממים אל האמת אנשים אשר נשחתה דעתם ונמאסים בדבר האמונה
9 But they will not advance beyond a certain point. For the folly of the latter shall be made manifest to all, just as that of the former.	9 אכן לא יוסיפו להצליח כי שגעונם יגלה לכל כאשר קרה גם את האנשים ההם
10 But you have fully comprehended my doctrine, instruction, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,	10 אבל אתה הלכת אחרי בהוראה ובהנהגה וברצון ובאמונה ובארך הרוח ובאהבה ובסבלנות
11 persecutions, afflictions; such things as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra; how I endured persecutions, and how the Lord rescued me from everything.	11 וברדיפות ובענוים אשר מצאוני באנטיוכיא ובאקוניא ובלוסטרא ואלה הרדיפות סבלתי ומכלן הצילני האדון
12 And all those who willingly live the piety in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.	12 וגם כל החפצים לחיות חיי חסידות במשיח ישוע המה ירדפו
13 But evil men and deceivers will advance in evil, erring and sending into error.	13 ואנשים רעים וקסמים יוסיפו סרה מתעים ונתעים
14 Yet truly, you should remain in those things which you have learned and which have been entrusted to you. For you know from whom you have learned them.	14 אבל אתה עמד במה שלמדת והבטחת כי יודע אתה מי הוא אשר למדת ממנו
15 And, from your infancy, you have known the Sacred Scriptures, which are able to instruct you toward salvation, through the faith which is in Christ Jesus.	15 ומנעוריך ידעת את כתבי הקדש היכלים להחכימך אל הישועה על ידי האמונה במשיח ישוע
16 All Scripture, having been divinely inspired, is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in justice,	16 כי כל הכתוב נכתב ברוח אלהים גם מועיל להורת ולהוכיח ולישר וליסר בצדק
17 so that the man of God may be perfect, having been trained for every good work.	17 למען אשר יהיה איש האלהים תמים ומהיר לכל מעשה טוב
