Psalms 45

1 Unto the end. To the sons of Korah, for confidants. A Psalm.	1 In fine, alli figliuoli di Core, per i secreti.
2 Our God is our refuge and strength, a helper in the tribulations that have greatly overwhelmed us.	2 Iddio è il nostro rifugio e virtù; aiutore nelle tribulazioni, le quali molto ne hanno trovato.
3 Because of this, we will not be afraid when the earth will be turbulent and the mountains will be transferred into the heart of the sea.	3 Però, quando turberassi la terra, non temeremo; e quando si transferiranno i monti nel cuore del mare.
4 They thundered, and the waters were stirred up among them; the mountains have been disturbed by his strength.	4 Sonorono e turboronsi loro acque; conturbati sono i monti nella sua fortezza.
5 The frenzy of the river rejoices the city of God. The Most High has sanctified his tabernacle.	5 Il muovere del fiume rallegra la città di Dio; l'Altissimo ha santificato il suo tabernacolo.
6 God is in its midst; it will not be shaken. God will assist it in the early morning.	6 Nel suo mezzo, Iddio non si commoverà; aiuteralla Iddio la mattina per tempo.
7 The peoples have been disturbed, and the kingdoms have been bowed down. He uttered his voice: the earth has been moved.	7 Conturbate sono le genti, e abbassati sono i regni; dette la voce sua, e mossesi la terra.
8 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.	8 Il Signore delle virtù è con noi; il Dio di Iacob è nostro ricevitore.
9 Draw near and behold the works of the Lord: what portents he has set upon the earth,	9 Venite, e vedete le opere del Signore, le maraviglie che puose sopra la terra;
10 carrying away wars even to the end of the earth. He will crush the bow and break the weapons, and he will burn the shield with fire.	10 togliendo le battaglie insino alli termini della terra. Spezzerà l'arco, e romperà l'arme; e brucerà i scudi col fuoco.
11 Be empty, and see that I am God. I will be exalted among the peoples, and I will be exalted upon the earth.	11 Ponete mente, e vedete come io sono Iddio; sarò esaltato nelle genti, ed esaltarommi nella terra.
12 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.	12 Il Signore di virtù è con noi; il Dio di Iacob è nostro ricevitore.
