Psalms 62

2 My soul rests in God alone, from whom comes my salvation.	2 En Dieu seul le repos pour mon âme, de lui mon salut;
3 God alone is my rock and salvation, my secure height; I shall never fall.	3 lui seul mon rocher, mon salut, ma citadelle, je ne bronche pas.
4 How long will you set upon people, all of you beating them down, As though they were a sagging fence or a battered wall?	4 Jusques à quand vous ruer sur un homme et l'abattre, vous tous, comme une muraille qui penche,une clôture qui croule?
5 Even from my place on high they plot to dislodge me. They delight in lies; they bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah	5 Duperie seulement, leurs projets, leur plaisir est de séduire; le mensonge à la bouche, ils bénissent,au-dedans ils maudissent.
6 My soul, be at rest in God alone, from whom comes my hope.	6 En Dieu seul repose-toi, mon âme, de lui vient mon espoir;
7 God alone is my rock and my salvation, my secure height; I shall not fall.	7 lui seul mon rocher, mon salut, ma citadelle, je ne bronche pas;
8 My safety and glory are with God, my strong rock and refuge.	8 en Dieu mon salut et ma gloire, le rocher de ma force. En Dieu mon abri,
9 Trust God at all times, my people! Pour out your hearts to God our refuge! Selah	9 fiez-vous à lui, peuple, en tout temps, devant lui épanchez votre coeur, Dieu nous est un abri!
10 Mortals are a mere breath, the powerful but an illusion; On a balance they rise; together they are lighter than air.	10 Un souffle seulement, les fils d'Adam, un mensonge, les fils d'homme; sur la balance s'ilsmontaient ensemble, ils seraient moins qu'un souffle.
11 Do not trust in extortion; in plunder put no empty hope. Though wealth increase, do not set your heart upon it.	11 N'allez pas vous fier à la violence, vous essoufflant en rapines; aux richesses quand elless'accroissent n'attachez pas votre coeur!
12 One thing God has said; two things I have heard: Power belongs to God;	12 Une fois Dieu a parlé, deux fois, j'ai entendu. Ceci: que la force est à Dieu,
13 3) so too, Lord, does kindness, And you render to each of us according to our deeds.	13 à toi, Seigneur, l'amour; et cela: toi, tu paies l'homme selon ses oeuvres.
